Then you may want to pick up the newest Uncanny X-men issue. You'll see why.

That's a good point. All of Cap's physical stats should be numerically at the tip of his class.
Mental, too, if Ultimates is to be believed.

Also, I never said DC made sense.
Personally, I think Cap should be stronger than Batman. Barely.

And how does David explain bullets bouncing off Hulk, and Thor's fist not going through him? That's a lot of comics to alter historically.

Must be, but there could be some characters written up that way as well. But not Jean Grey, this thread's topic.

Since when does a person collapse at 0 karma, Doc? Punisher would faint left and right.
Here's what the player's book says.
"Characters with telepathy may develop
Power Stunts, including:
• Using the telepathic "push" as a bolt of
mental force of Power rank range and
damage, using the Energy attack
column."
Dave's book supports this. Karma draining

True about the claws. The only time they penetrated him was when Belasco's superstrong lackey threw one at Colossus.
The judge's book says he has a "minimal" need to breathe, whatever that means.
Magneto revealed Colossus to be powered by some sort of energy internally after the Massacre.

I was wondering that as well. He must be preparing a good rant.
There are write-ups around here.
In an early Uncanny issue Colossus walked underwater w/ no need to breathe. He also lifted the Blackbird out of an ocean. Issue 150 or so.

You could use the Resource table in the players book. It let's you roll randomly to raise/lower existing ranks. It's right there in character creation.

Won't be any time soon, but I'll certainly let you know when I do. Those are great characters to have around.

Not sure, I bet Neil had the same problem, though.
Looks great again, Ty. I'll certainly work them into my next plot if it makes you feel any better.

Nice. I'm reading book 4 now and your stats still hold up well, Ty.

Those outfits would only blend in in certain kinds of clubs.

Haven't seen that character in the series yet as I just finished book II. But that's a beautiful write-up, Ty. Love the pics you put in on the Endless, too.

Maybe, but I can only think of a handful of times the team has ever been undercover.

Agility is a major weakness in the Marvel system. Reflexes, aiming and flexibility are not the same thing.
Robocop would have the same problem.
You could add in a power to balance it, like a low ranked hyper-speed. Data would have something like that, I'd think.
Always bugged me that Spiderman can shoot a gun better than Punisher.

How would you work these as UPB character generation types?

My guess is because nobody's heard of him until now.

Actually, I think the Str and End are more accurate on the Handbook verison.
The same one is here, I think.

Good job. I forgot that the wheelchair plays an important role at the end.

Seriously though, I've never quite understood the whole pantheon in DC. There's a topic about it here somewhere.
I'm pretty sure DC does mention God in relation to the Spectre. But I've no clue how he (it, whatever) stacks up to cosmic comic characters.
I'd always guessed Beyond in all ranks.
Also, older is not the same as more powerful. Usually the opposite, actually.

Gods aren't too impressive in Marvel, compared to Galactus and such.
Remember, I've only read 10 or so Sandman issues. But DC Death seemed nowhere near as awe-inspiring as Marvel Death.
Cuter, though. ;-)
