Here is your opportunity to have your say about current character stats and also to post any you devise. Basically you'll help everyone out..

Spot was a very cool villian in the old Peter Parker series. Excellent job.
Ace was even cooler. Any guesses on his stats? He wiped the floor with Spiderman twice.

Speaking of Spiderman beating Firelord (which nobody really was), Wolverine takes Silver Surfer down in one gut stab in What If # 81. The "fight" lasts exactly one panel.
At least it took Spidey and entire comic or two to win.

Can't recall the name of it, but I saw it as a new release yesterday at the comic store.
It looks like a lesser Marvel Age (which is why I didn't buy it), but it does include the full reprint of Crimson. That's 2 bucks cheaper I think.
If I see it again, I'll put the name here.

It's out now, but you can also buy a reprint of it for 99 cents in that Marvel preview thing.

Don't know much about the character, but that's probably a good improvement.
He's the Rob Liefieldish guy w/ the two swords, right?

True, but it sounds like he still deserves the talents.

Very true, Doc. Gambit, Punisher and Nomad were all doing the trench thing way back.
The only thing worse than Gambit is Pete Wisdom, the low-rent powerless "Gambit" from Excaliber. Yuck.

Has anything like that happened in the show or films?

Oh yeah, well I bet it wouldn't affect Magical True Invulnerability. :hot:

In the first of the MSH Cosmic adventure modules there are rules for adjusting normal PCs to cosmic levels.
Can't remember them offhand, but I believe you raise an ability or power to UN (player's choice), give them True Flight if they don't have it, and Self-sustenence for outer space protection.

His convoluted past, his annoying attitude, his rip-off power (Harpoon crossed w/ Bullseye), his boring trenchcoat ... I could go on for days, really.
It's like DC for Warlock. :hot:

That question has come up in my campaign.
Does a Highlander have to have his head cut off, or will any removal of it kill him?
We've been assuming the latter.

Stark has worked for the government. He started as a defense contractor. Iron Man however has never been an official operative. That may change is CastleBravo is correct.
I really don't know the details.

I like your unmasking plot much better.
Actually they're doing something to Iron Man now. He's getting a new creative team and new direction. Something about becoming America's new line of defense. Can't be any worse than it has been lately.
And Doc, any one of his enemies could have hatched a scheme based on his secret i.d.

That's why I say some are poorly defined. The way they are used may be flexible, but the words on the page usually aren't.
It really depends on the Stat in question. Mental stats are more flexible than Physical ones.

Post that question in my UPB topic and maybe Dave'll answer it.
As for edged weapons, an edged attack is already dangerous, so material str or character str is a fine rank to use.
The specific claw rules are ridiculous. I've seen Wolverine very lightly cut someone many, many times.

Maybe now, but at the time of the MSH game he was listed that way for good reason.
Haven't seen him in years, so I've no idea how strong he is.

Kirk falling off a bridge was dramatic, too. Still stupid.

I don't see benchmarks as flexible at all. Some are poorly defined perhaps, but not flexible.
Stark unmasked to save a puppy.
Yes, a puppy.
Thanks Grell.
I wonder if his foundation funds the Avengers when he gets kicked out once a year or so.

Yeah, but how hard is it to justify something as "Avenger business?" Especially for him?
by Spirit
- Let's Talk Stats
That's a good theory. But I suspect it has to do w/ sales really.
by Spirit

Yeah, in the cartoon. He's still a cheapskate. Won't even give Robin his own car. Probably hasn't given Alfred a raise in years.
And a foundation created by Stark still counts as his resources to me.
