I had one (and others) Limitation that was like a Power. I called it the Finite Power Supply
This is a Limitation that can be placed on any power, but makes the most sense on Energy Projection type powers. The idea is that the character has some limit that his/her body/equipment can only store and generate a small amount of energy upon which to draw from. When the character uses powers tha

I have the Warlord already scanned as well as the other module to complete the collection. It just seems one of those things that got lost in the shuffle.
As for converting the other works, to my ranking system, I didn't see a huge need. Webs for instance have almost nobody high enough rank that would really justify a rewrite. I could be wrong, given the time laps between the publicati

That is a great question about the pre-established characters. The reason that they did not change is the essence of the tweaking of the rank system that I did. There was no need. The idea was for the new ranks was to give better definition to those upper ranks, not as a means to rewrite the system. Also, the good majority of the characters in the book, were under the AM rank in most of their

Hey, I just wanted to give a shout out to Auntie and NiniriAZ for getting my 3 book series for the core of the expanded ranks.
It has been a touch of time since anyone has said anything about them. What has been other people's experiences now? Good, Bad, what expanded ranks? Let me know.
Now that the Judge's book has been finally published, how do the tweaks to the establishe

Hi Abulia,
the only changes I made in my PHB, UPB, and JHB (which i have designated with a "-X") is the addition of the 3 ranks. Therefor, all charts that have ranks have been updated accordingly. Beyond the expansion of the Ranks, the game mechanics have not been touched at all.
For further details on the PHB-X, UPB-X, and (one day) JHB-X, go to the Revamp section of the Forums

Galactus should not be defined as Evil, unless he actively seeks out civilized world while passing up uninhabited worlds that fit his needs. He has always chosen the first world he came across, inhabited or not.
I guess i would say Galactus is Destructive, not Evil. Evil is the intent behind the action, not the action itself.

Well, technically, Proteus never really died to begin with. His energies were dispersed by Colossus, scattered around the world. Since energy can't be destroyed, Proteus has an effective immortality power. Now, was he able to act or think or anything normal? No. So in that sense, his essence scattering is like death, but always a chance for him to come back. Hell, in the early 90s ther

I don't know about everyone else, but I thought the UPB True Invulnerability was just plain stupid. Rank shifts? from another rank? can it get anymore cumbersome?
I always treated T.I. as like Body Armor, but with out the weakness. So if you have IN(40) T.I., then you absorb 40 points of damage. The plus on T.I. is that it works equally for any type of damage: energy, physical, fire,

Yeah, Blackout died at the end of that battle. Strangely enough, Marvel did not resurrect him like every other character in the Marvel roster.
Darkstar died too. She was killed by Fantomex and was buired in Paris, France. I thought it was a sensless killing on the writters part. Darkstar had a much more interesting past/character than a lot of the losser rip-off characters that still breat

In all honesty, the best moment of the Secret Wars was when it was over.
The only thing worse then this series was Secret Wars II, "Omnipotence picks white jumpsuit". The only thing worse that SW II was the Spider-man Clone Saga.
Oh, wait, I know what was worse, the Batman/Spawn series. That was the new low in comic crossover/team-ups. Reading Batman/Spawn makes the Secret Wa

I see what you are saying, and it does make sense, but Powersurge does have a point with characters like Storm and Magneto.
I think what you are driving at more, is the massive, brick like characters, like Thing or Hulk, should be more reflective of their ability to take damage, compared to the Cap Americas, Cyclops, and Storms. Well, maybe we should add that into Health too, Height and Weigh

one thing i wonder, with this alt system, is how Martial Arts skills are added into it? Will those +CS affect the result of the damage amount? Will that help Thor and Herc able to hit for UN? It certainly would be the case for Martial Arts B, which adds to the Fighting column.
I like this idea of the full punch damage in coordination with Fighting skill. It makes sense. Does it burden dow

Ok, so I looked up DC stats for Superman. Now, while the stats i posted earlier was for the current incarnation of Superman, DC has also posted a Pre-Crisis and an Earth-2 version of Superman. The stats are as follows:
Post-Crisis (Silver-Age)
Dex 26; Str 50; Body 40; Int 13; Will 22; Mind 15; Infl 10; Aura 10; Spirit 4 with a Charisma skill of 20 and no Martial Arts skills

I have a character, he also had the honor of being one of Wizard's Mort-of-the-Month. I give you, the Hypno Hustler!
Of course, Dazzler of the 70s was pretty horrendous. I mean she had a big-@#$%& disco ball as a neckless with blue make-up wings around her eyes. Yuck.
Angar the Screamer is pretty stupid. But then again, he is a 60s acid trip with sonic powers.

Hi everyone, as you might recall from previous posts in the Revamp section of the Forum, I am (one day this century) going to release a rewrite of the Mayfair's "Atlas of the DC Universe", but for MSH stats.

Darkseid vs Galactus - Galactus, but i'd watch out for a trick from Darkseid
Dr. Fate vs Doctor Strange - I'd give the edge to Strange
Blue Devil vs Gargoyle - Gargoyle
Lex Luthor vs King Pin - mmmm, Fisk in a street fight, otherwise Luthor has him in long term planning

I've got the Lands of Doom and Webs too. Webs is a waste of time to scan, it was a real pathetic effort from TSR. The Character Stat book was the only useful thing and it really had no new character except like the White Rabbit. I mean, who cares about the White Rabbit. Beyond that, it was just a rehash product.
If there was a focus, I would like to see the Doom box set OCR scanned.

I think it is the circumstance of the action that will determine if it is a hit or a miss. For example, Luke Skywalker would probably need a Yellow FEAT roll to get the shot that destroyes the Death Star, so a Green result would be a miss. Trying to target a "weak spot" in a defese armor might result in a "miss" with a Green result.
At the same time, a "general"

I should follow up this this article on Metropolis from Wikpedia:
Like many of DC's other fictional cities, the location of Metropolis has varied greatly over the years. Metropolis, however, is usually portrayed as a major city on the east coast of the United States.
It has been said that, metaphorically, Metropolis is New York during the day, and Gotham City (home to Batman) is New Yo

Well, you can place him in the closest city that Gotham is suppose to be, Atlantic City. According to the DC materials (I'm not talking about the Game materials, but the Comics), Gotham is believed to be in the "Egg Harbor" area of Jersey, about 30 miles north of Atlantic City. This is a great source from Wikipedia:

Sure, his bones are laced with Admantium, but not his tendons, cartilage, and other gunk. That would not stop a truly pissed off Hulk from ripping the bones out of sockets. Although, that is not really the Hulk's style, he usually just bludgeons things to a pulp, not ripping things up. Hope Wolvie's healing factor can reattach limbs if the Hulk decides to "spice things up."
