The Benchmarks in the Creation section lists Amazing Agility as maximum human. Is this intentional Auntie P? Was there a vote that I missed? Were there memos? I should have gotten a memo.

Well canon or not, it's stupid. If it is canon, then we need to reboot or get new canon. We can call it "howitzer" instead :) ! We'll define it as: "Just like 'canon', only not stupid."

Good stuff. But the Herculoids are 60's stuff. Just a nitpick.

I have to ask you guys, Sidious and Lord_Sidious, are you related?
Anyway, you might want to use the stats for Werewolf, the one who hung out with Moon Knight, for comparison. From the Gamer's Handbook Vol. 4: "Silver Vulnerability: Each hit by a silver weapon requires Russell to make an Endurance FEAT roll. A Red or Yellow result is treated as a 'kill'." That is pretty

Or else it would be a sucky episode. Many no-name extras get dusted pretty fast. It would be dumb if the fight with the Master

Absolutely! I think it is written somewhere that he has mastered something like 20,000 martial arts from all sorts of planets, and being an Elder he has been honing his skills for eons. How can he NOT have Class range Fighting? We all have our nitpicks about certain stats here and there, but the Champion's official write-up is just plain wrong, wrong on the level of someone letting their poo

Yeah, it is too much. I think it would be proper to consider his +3CS to be "vestigial" or "antiquated". He had it and used it before he evolved himself. Now that he is uber1337, the knowledge he possessed when still normal is kids stuff.
Besides, you can make a very strong case against ANY Talents employed by characters in the Class range. On page 15 of the Player's Boo

I think he does. Just let Doc do what he wants. No non-entity should be able to change his course of action. Manhattan is a Cosmic Cube type entity. If he was in a courtroom, a jury of his peers would have to consist of The Watchers, the High Evolutionary, the Stranger, etc.

Don't like it. I have a PDF of the BTVS:RPG core rules and I am a huge Buffyverse fan, but the extra damage rule doesn't make sense. Wood piercing the heart insta-kills in the TV shows while stabbing them anywhere BUT does nothing special. Almost all the arrows and bolts in the shows were wood, but Angel and Spike never showed any "special" reaction to being shot by them. Ange

Incredible is the human limit. You won't find it clearly stated anywhere in canon, but it is. Don't sweat Cap having Incredible Intuition. He has a couple different write-ups: one gives him a 10-40-10 RIP score and another gives him 20-20-50, both being "official". Give Holmes IN Intuition and appropriate Talents and he'll do just fine. An easy way to remember the huma

I would require a Power FEAT and then another FEAT for every single action the player wanted to take, as long as we didn't spend the whole night resolving his one turn. Reminds me too much of an ill-fated GURPS Martial Arts night we once had.
I think the bottom line is gimping the speedsters. David has a great couple of examples in a thread in the Discussion board. You only need a couple po

You can try and convert him using these two pages:
Example: Dex-15 turns into Agility-Mn(75). Dimension Travel-20 turns into Shift-X. Psyche requires a judgement call, personally, I'd give him Monstrous or Unearthly. He is the messenger of Death to the New Gods after all.

I believe the Whizzer of the Squadron Supreme. His write-up in Volume 7 of the Gamer's Handbooks states it as a Power Stunt of his Hyper-Speed. Interestingly, this is a completely different power than his Hyper-Running. Anyway, the one hundred punches is because he has Unearthly level. The power states his r

This might just be me, but I think that a randomn animal would have a higher Intuition score than a randomn human. Almost every animal here has Feeble. I know the Judge's Book gives the average animal a below than average human Intuition score but, well, I think the official rules are wrong too. At the very least you would have to give most animals Enhanced Senses of some sort. That would al

I think if you search these forums specifically for D20 you'll have some luck. I know I've seen threads concerning the D20 system in general. Google might turn up some stuff too.
I think that if you do a straight conversion versus a modified one you'll quickly discover yet another proof that superhero RPGs are way over the top of other genres. IOW, someone like the Thing or She-Hu

Thats awesome ty. Mailing list archives might be the closest thing to "buried treasure" that exists for useless internet info :). I find it cool that in a DC mailing list, by the fans for the fans, they keep Batman at a 10 and give Captain America an 11! Excelsior!

Funny you should stress the writer syndrome with Wonder Woman. The guy who invented her was something else.
He also apparently lived with his wife and "assitant", a young woman who wore conspicuous metal bracelets. He had chlidren with both of them.
