Here is your opportunity to have your say about current character stats and also to post any you devise. Basically you'll help everyone out..
This forum is currently read only. You can not log in or make any changes. This is a temporary situation.
>>What?!? Why would you look at it from any other point of view? As far as Marvel and this game is concerned that is the only explantion that matters. All the other "real life was this, and history says that" is what is irrelevent when discussing Marvel, which is what I beleive this site is for. If we were at a Norse Mythology site I wouldn't bring up what Marvel did so why s

Why are you posting stats in the Discussion forum? They have an entire forum called "Lets Talk Stats"!

That scene in the All-Access/Amalgam cross-over when Wonder Woman handed Thor his own hammer was awesome! I think it was the best single event in the entire arc.
The whole "Asgardians-before-the-Norse" discussion is deceiving. We only have these comic book characters because they were parts of our Earth's actual history. In reality, the Norse did invent the pantheon with Odin, Tho

I have a question. If you prove worthy to wield it once, can you wield it from then on even if you do something bad? I know everyone will jump and say "Of course you can no longer wield it!", but there is precedent. Thor went mad remember. He fought the Silver Surfer and Beta Ray Bill. He honestly was trying killing them and yet the hammer still obeyed.
As a sidenote, I believe that wo

I thought of something decent that came from Secret Wars. The toys! I remember being so exicited when I got my circa 1984 Wolverine and Captain America. They were the first Marvel toys I ever had, and I still got them!

Its a lot like Power Focus in the UPB, except its not really as good. If Vegetta had the power from the UPB it would have hit harder and he would have lived. xmanalb here should have mentioned that as part of the power's base description. Vegetta meant critical mass when he did it. In fact, he knew it was going to be the last thing he ever did, so, I think duplicating what he did should incl

Why, after all these years, do some people still treat the Beyonder like he actually was a Beyonder? He is an incomplete Cosmic Cube. That is all he ever was. They rationalized away everything he did against Death, the Celestials, etc., a long time ago. He is no more powerful than Kubik or the Shaper of Worlds. Period. Never was...never will be. I usually don't rant but I'm sick of this

Avengers #212. Linnea the Elf Queen tried to lift Thor's hammer but she couldn't, so she magically manipulated the surrounding pavement and dirt into a fist. This fist wielded the hammer for her and she even struck Thor himself with it. I think that is a pretty good precedent for allowing someone like Magneto physically utilize the hammer but they still can't tap the hammer's

Nice job people! How about this one Moonrazor: Atum a.k.a. Demogorge the God-Eater. Son of Gaea and the Demiurge, he tooled every Elder God. Cthon and Set survived because they ran away with their tales between their legs. His battle with Set is what killed the dinosaurs in the Marvel universe.

Hi. Everyone and their mother knows about certain characters like the Silver Surfer, Thor, Galactus, etc. The thing is there are a lot of characters who have graced the pages of the MSHRPG books that are ridiculously powerful but are little known and hardly ever used. How many can you name? The more obscure the better, and preferrably their stats should be in print somewhere.

More amazing than funny, my friend whom I've done most of my "Marveling" with rolled up an entire mutant team (he was inspired by the New Mutants which had just come out). He legitimately rolled one that had both kinds of Probability Manipulation, both good and bad, and made him the team leader. As an experiment, I Judged and let him play the entire team while I sent Nimrod after h

Which reminds me, I have no clue what you mean by gaming differntly than the rest of us.
Who's us? I was talking to xmanalb. I meant that I never play in a game that sacrifices accuracy for playability. Others can have their fun but I get nothing out of it.

I have not neutered DBZ characters! I simply made them playable. Do you know how tempting it is for a Player to want a super saiyan 3 or 4 and then use the character to wipe out evil super-humans?
Wizard magazine had an article about Anime vs. DC/Marvel. They put Goku against Superman. Superman was kicking @#$%& until Goku turned Super Saiyan 3. That scenario was playable.

Well xmanalb, I just read through a lot of your posts over in the Stats forum. I also read the posts by Metaphysician and TurboJellyfish and I agree with both of them. I believe you sacrifice a lot for playability and that is also your perrogative. As long as the game is fun for everyone more power to ya'. I just think that most of the characters you listed here are only viable opponents in

How is Buu a magical version of the In-Betweener? As far as I uderstand he is nothing like the In-Betweener at all.
You should include every super-intelligent character in the Marvel Universe on that list as well. Buu is a complete idiot and could be handled easily outside of the DBZ environment of "bigger-better-faster-more."
Of the people you mentioned, some wouldn't stand a ch

Umm...you have Kubik listed in your Character Profiles. The only thing it lacks is an indepth history. I'll see what I can do about the other 2. Its more a matter of me making the time than anything else.

Yeah but Epoch is his "kid" and I don't if "it" has to do any "maturing". Like I said, I'm an Epoch fanatic.
Nightmare is listed in the Realms of Magic, Book 3, as the Sorcerer Supreme. They printed him as such. Besides, considering him a mini-Eternity of his dimension I think is much more impressive than being a Sorcerer Supreme. At any rate, he and Dorma

I think all the Eternals by definition should get on the "Little Guys" list. They all have the standard complement of "entity invulnerabilities", they are all truly immortal, and they all harness the Power Cosmic.
I don't know how extensive a list you want but there are others that deserve to be on the "Big Guys" list:
