So, my group and I got together earlier this evening and completed my mini-campaign. Suffice it to say the world is safe. . .although one hero got the chance to give his life and the drama was heavy.

However, prior to the game, one of the players had a suggestion regarding the Evade maneuver.

Compare Fighting v. Fighting just like the comparison of attack ability v. agility.

For instance, the attacker has Incredible Fighting and the defender has Good Fighting. Instead of the defender being able to avoid a slugfest attack (or wrestling attack) with a Green Good FEAT (46 or better), the defender would take the -3CS, dropping their evade FEAT chance to Poor.

It certainly made sense to me because we were already reducing the probability of success with attack rolls. . .then it dawned on me.. .This is too much crap to keep track of.

So , before our "final" game began, I informed the troops that we were going to play the game as it was written. No primary modifiers. . .if your character had an Incredible Fighting abilty and was attempting to strike a character with Monstrous Agilty, then, hallelujah, your character still had an Incredible chance to succeed. There were grumbles and "oh man, that's not realistic" type comments, but they didn't get up and leave.
