Well I can't speak for Aunt_Petunia for what problems might keep him too busy to check on the site or work to deal with problems promptly, I can only say that it doesn't help anyone being overly critical. You don't get the best effort out of anyone by making them feel like it's pointless and the work won't be appreciated, you get it by making them feel appreciated and le

Oh I know that's how you're reading it, I just don't read it that way. I just don't see why having your Body Coating active is essential for things like enhanced senses, telepathy, etc. But others might equate it like you do with Energy Sheath and having certain requirements that go along with it. It's vague enough to make most people happy with interpreting it any way

Good to hear you've got at least some of that worked out, and always nice chatting with you about various powers and getting input on them even if I don't use them myself.
Body Coating in a sense ends up about like the temporary version of Armor Skin, only you can inflict damage on it and eventually eliminate it if you try, nor does it carry any specific vulnerabilities or benefits b

Well a number of powers are left intentionally vague to let the GM and player customize it to better fit their game, they aren't all simple and straightforward like Force Field or Body Resistance. Shapeshifting for example references the duration of a new form being based on the power rank but doesn't actually say HOW it's based on it. So it comes down to what the GM had in mind

I don't think the coating's meant to inhibit the use of all powers, and final interpretation of the power up to the decision of the player and GM (probably one reason it's so vague rather than given definite limits like some other powers). While you could always explain why those powers didn't work as being a result of the way the coating configures itself on the head it'

Nice, one notation though with regards to Troubleseeker: if you're using the base power it actually adds its power rank to your Endurance (explanation given is that it improves your durability to handle the stresses of being teleported around at random so frequently). So you'd end up around Amazing (60) rank for Endurance and a health of 124. Considering how often your character gets

I don't think it would have gone that easily just having Cap Pro-Reg. They've have still been doing all the human-rights violating things they did when he was Pro-Constitution and trying to hide it from him like they did with Spider-man until he learned the truth and spoke out (before the god-awful retcon that added that to many of the discontinuities around, including the heroes and o

I just don't see how you can create an energy sheath of kinetic energy, it's just not energy in the sense that the sheath power is intended for. Unfortunately some get confused that just because the word 'energy' is part of something that they're all pretty much the same. That kind of error had Warbird absorbing sonic energy when her power to absorb energy meant electro

I'm not sure that kinetic energy qualifies as something that could compose an energy sheath, as it's not energy in the sense that all the other types of sheathes listed are. I can't even figure out how to explain that to make it work.
As far as comparing Energy Sheath and Force Field to one another with the sheath you only get personal protection and few if any power stunts, wh

Not a mental disorder, just something many beings have, a fear of success. He sabotages himself because he feels unworthy of the power he seeks which doesn't rise to the level of a disorder and just a flaw like all of us have.

Hmmmm, a friend of mine who does computer work says off the bat he's getting something called SGML Parser Errors checking out the site remotely and I asked if he'd donate his services to Aunt_Petunia to see if he can fix the problems, provide he'll trust him with the site access of course. Considering he's been doing computer work and customer service for years I think given

I haven't checked out that limited series but it's unlikely Zeus is really dead. Some modern weapons with a magical flare to them would be interesting, although that'd require someone other than Ares to make them. While he's a master of weapons he's not a craftsman as most pantheons have only a select few or just one god that crafted most or all of the godly magical art

I specifically reject that retcon, it damages almost as much continuity for the Marvel Universe as the recent Spider-man retcon (and forced for about the same reasons). It was also shown in the Infinity Crusade that Cosmic Cubes function at the Beyond level but self-limit save against a powerful enough will to override that, so there's still justification for The Beyonder even as a damaged

Well if that's the case then the Molecule Man needs to be inserted right below The Beyonder then since he exceeded everyone except The Beyonder.

You know, sometimes I get the impression that Wolverine's half the time only giving the leader a hard time to force him to rise to his best as he rarely pushes things too far and instead backs off after getting his point(s) made. Plus with his having a thing for Jean Grey he often hassled Cyclops just because of the sexual tension but was too old and exerienced to let that get in the way of

Well Ares is probably trying to be relatively low profile so he doesn't get hammered by Zeus for slumming around on Earth when he's not supposed to be. At least he's not looking as stupid as he tended to get drawn in the past. Given that they're doing more backstory on Hercules and his family by extension, weaving more of the religion into the history of the Marvel Universe

I don't tend to think of him as a cosmic entity, they keep jerking his power levels around so much and he's had them burned out 'permanently' so many times I can't count.

Well with the evolved Cosmic Cubes they seem to end up with a varying range of power depending on who has used them in up until the point of their evolution into independent life forms. Those with the most imaginative and creative users likely end up more powerful overall than those with lesser minds (much like how cripple the Shaper of Worlds is, lacking in creativity whereas Kubik is the oppos

Well as Thor told Iron Man that in this time and place he was no longer holding back and is accepting ALL the power open to him that he's never explored before. He's the son of Odin and Gaia after all, both beings of vast power and yet we've only seen him before his upgrading with the Odin Power and runes doing little more than beat down opponents with his hammer and using it to a

I don't think Thor's got either the Odin Force or the Runes at present. After his death and his rebirth due to the efforts of Donald Blake his greater power's been attributed to him not holding back and accepting the other half of his heritage, the power of nature inherited from his mother Gaia. Considering she's the only elder god left that didn't devolve into a demon

I really don't see them anywhere close to being more powerful or ranked higher than Galactus is; he lies as the centerpoint between Eternity and Death after all, and their centerpoint the In-Betweener is weaker (he only held his own against Galactus because Galactus was seriously weakened at the time). While they're non-physical cosmic entities that doesn't necessarily place them

Trying to work out a general ranking on the various Marvel Cosmic Entities, got a rough list in mind but would like to get any contributions to help expand on it. Some I've in mind include:
1) The One Above All - The Living Tribunal's boss (not the one that leads the Celestials), basically God, and clearly in the Beyond rank in everything.
2) The Beyonders - Likely above the Livi

None of those are actual examples of leadership though. Most of your examples are of Reed, by himself, doing the work that saved the day instead of taking a diverse group of people and using those varied talents organizing a team effort to succeed. Most people end up an afterthought to Reed and he only calls on them if he requires them for his plot, like when he used Thor's hammer to save

Not a problem; one can always adjust the basic write-up for a power to better customize it to reflect how unique a character is. It's just good to have everyone start with the same basics before doing so is all so everyone can agree on the changes. Your interpretation does give your version a distinct identity compared to someone using the default book version.

Nice, although sounds like he's got a version of the Troubleseeker power from the Ultimate Powers Book rather than separate powers of Teleportation and Precognition.
If you're using or have access to the Ultimate Powers book the healing power would either be Biophysical Control (Healing) or Biophysical Control (Regeneration), depending on whether or not the healing power can cause se

Not a bad suggestion to compare Reed with other proven leaders to see if he really measures up (I don't feel he does but doesn't mean someone can't show me well-reasoned arguments and comparisons to prove me wrong).
I agree that the Invisible Woman shows more reason to have Leadership talent than Reed does. If anything she's really the one who helps hold the FF together as
