Considering how well the Hulk was doing leading everyone on the planet he freed from the Red King he'd have been a great leader of the Earth. Probably would have united everyone under a true planetary government and put an end to virtually all war and poverty by the time he was done. Heck we could use him in the real world to go and slap around some of our world leaders and get these idiot

I've been waiting patiently on everyone to get vetted and the whole shebang to get started, no idea who else is involved or pending approval though.

Well someone's always got to do something that he feels will leave his mark that everyone will remember and if they can't with the present they'll screw with the past especially if it fries someone else's work that they don't like. Just look at the neat work of the SS-Formula for Captain America that had him as the original and only test subject until recent retcons adde

I just don't see Reed Richards having leadership; many are a little too quick to put Leadership talent on anyone who leads a team when that's not a necessity to lead. All you have to do is look at the news to see the efforts to choose someone to 'lead' the US and know that sometimes it's just a popularity contest or someone's chosen for reasons other than the abilit

I've never seen Reed as having Leadership; sure he appears to be a leader but that's only because of the close familial relationship with the rest of the FF (wife, brother-in-law, best friend) who defer to his direction, but when he's in charge of non-FF members he doesn't manage as well. He's also terrible at being part of a team where he's not in charge and often

Might try purging your cache, I noticed some temporary improvements to my access after doing so. Could be some cumulative problems that's clear up if you wiped all the temporary webpage info for classic marvel and accessed the forums as a fresh load.

Continuity started declining in the 90s (with the occasional continuity problem earlier but not very often or flashy for the most part), but really kicked into high gear in the 2000's. Many retcons have been done that trash continuity company-wide and little if any concern for the damage. Consider for example the Kree-Shi'ar war that resulted in the events of the Nega Bomb, destructio

I think you've the wrong perspective on people trained in martial arts and/or weapons, as they are generally less likely to approach things from a combative or barbaric standpoint. Many martial arts in fact teach restraint and violence as a last resort, not the first or only resort. While a military-minded person might tackle a problem with military tactics he's not necessarily going

Hmmmm, depends on what the area is; some talents it wouldn't matter what your Reason is you couldn't successfully use that raw Reason to successfully pull something off in that area. As long as you had some education that was close you might get by with a penalty of 1CS or 2CS but without it you'd require something miraculous, like a Red feat with a penalty to succeed or simply be

Considering what I remember from college at least some universities are set-up where it's little more than lecturing everyone in the room and check at the end to see if they learned enough to qualify for a passing grade in the class which isn't much different than Reed doing the same thing all the time to Johnny, Ben, and Susan. Given we've seen Johnny build at least one of the cr

That doesn't make it impossible for at least a nod to events going on that should impact what's going on in a certain area. The Hulk shows up and trashes NYC there ought to be at least some reflection of that in Daredevil for example, especially when he's shown in the WWH titles. Kang shows up and conquers the earth should see Spider-man in his titles having to deal with fallout

Well DC to Star Trek is understandable given the extremes of power involved (many of the entities we've seen in Star Trek would be toast against Superman or a Green Lantern; only ones like Q or the Borg would give them a challenge or easily smack them down). Marvel to Star Wars isn't so unbelievable, and of course Marvel to Star Trek went fine. I have to admit I loved it when The Next

Unfortunately the immune system doesn't tend to have the awareness to know that something's good for the body and simply attacks what doesn't belong there whether it's good for the body or not. If it were that discriminating we wouldn't require anti-rejection drugs for organ transplants or see problems with implanted medical technology like pacemakers and heart valves.

Hopefully all that's over and done with and we can get back to not having to walk on eggshells around one another and just discuss things without people assuming disagreements are attacks.
A team of Jedi would be like the X-men against a team of villains like the Mauraders, where which side has the best team tactics and cohesiveness grants the edge. The Mauraders were powerful but didn

Well if you go by the Post-Crisis Superman even under a yellow sun his full powers didn't manifest until he was an adult, until then he was still vulnerable to injury and while somewhat tougher and stronger didn't go very much above human norms. It wasn't until in a retconned in story where he survived a car accident without a scratch his graduating year of High School that left e

Considering the degree to which Reed Richards is constantly lecturing those around him, which is often the others in the group, after years if not more than a decade of such is it too much a stretch to believe that the others have picked up other talents than they're credited with?
They're all college graduates (and Ben Grimm in particular has been listening to Reed since said colleg

She's absorbed magical skills and abilities in the past (Don't get more magical than Juggernaut after all, and she absorbed the spell-casting ability and knowledge of Forge's mentor), so whether Jedi are magical or get powered up by some funky bacteria in their blood she could temporarily absorb it.

It might be more appropriate to consider the light saber as an energy field similar to a monomolecular-edged weapon, using the rules for such under the Two-Dimensionality power. Simply have the material it can slice through be based on the Psyche of the owner of the light saber which would still allow for cutting through some impressive materials and let the cutting ability vary depending on the

Except that Rogue acquires the memories and skills not just raw power of an opponent when she drains them. Absorbing Man's the one who generally is screwed if he copies/absorbs something that requires training to wield effectively or safely.

They've generally shown Kryptonians having enhanced powers under exposure to multiple yellow suns in a simple multiplication of abilities, even for Pre-Crisis. The returned Super-girl even had problems under the triple yellow suns of I think it was Rannagar as she wasn't used to the overload although did manage to use the enhanced senses and mental capacities to defeat a terrible threa

I do wish Marvel had better oversight on the continuity, so that it wasn't so confusing what events happened when. Especially when they had events that clearly affected the entire earth or at least NYC such that it should have had some kind of acknowledgemet in every Marvel title.

I have to agree that Superman would have more of an advantage than that. Even the current incarnation of Superman can move asteroids and small moons, something I don't believe any Force-Wielder can achive. After all if they could they wouldn't need something like the Death Star they'd just bare brain it. Pre-Crisis he could have easily wiped out any Force Wielder, good or evil.

I'm not sure that I'd consider the 1000+ karma spent for a power stunt as a cheap way of adding a power, which in a sense power stunts are in many cases anyway. You're taking a power that works one way and expanding it to have something radically different or specialized in a way related to the original power. Someone starting with Telepathy for example power stunts Mind Probe, M

Way back in the X-men after Forge created his neutralizer gun we saw Gyric use it to neutralize Storm's powers when attempting to do so to Rogue, but what-if he'd hit his intended target and nullified Rogue's powers instead of Storm's, what would have resulted from that?

Depends; Juggernaut's supposedly on the slow and plodding side as a side-effect of his powers as such it might not really do much beyond remove his speed or seriously dampen it while gaining immeasurable strength and durability. All that size and bulk might just mean he moves faster relative to someone without super-speed gaining those powers but nowhere near as fast as he would without the

I think it's been established that the SS-Serum requires that radiation bath to stabilize it (or otherwise finish the modification process) and without it the brain can't handle the influence of the straight serum and develops mental problems. Of course that leaves the question as to can you actually just undergo psychological care and be 'cured' of whatever mental problems y
