I'd say that if any of the members of the F.F. were paying diligent attention to what Reed was saying, in the sense an apprentice might, than maybe. However, I think that everyone just wants the gist of it so they can do whatever they have to do and get it over with. No one really cares about all of the technical yack Reed does, and Reed isn't exactly a teacher considering how he always

Morningstar #23
Having crashed back to Earth within the borders of Latveria, it was not long before the charred and broken remains of the Morningstar synthoid came to the attention of Dr.Doom. These were carried to Doom's castle where they underwent thorough a analysis culminating in Doom's "resurrection" of Morningstar.
But this was not all. Dr.Doom had also tampered

I don't think that either the US ARmy, who gave Rogers the SSS, or the Invaders were no one.
As an individual that was peak human in ALL physical areas, unhinder by size/weight/build restrictions, Cap was NEVER merely human. His ability to operate at peak levels definitely qualified him, right from the get go as superhuman.
Still, that admittedly doesn't mean all that much when in

It is a "point of quibble". The super-solider serum is a man-made compound geared toward inducing unnatural physical gains in the user. Whether such a substance is used once or needs to be used many times is irrelevant.
Regarding the unhealthy side-effects; according to Stark's files in the Civil War crossover, Captain America is the only subject of the super-solider experiment

Was Cap the first substance abuser?
Well, to avoid quibbling over semantics the question might be rephrased to something like, "was Cap subject to a performance enhancer?". Yes. The SS Serum was a performance enhancer. Steroid, virus, regular dosings, pathological dosings, no matter.
Is Stever Rogers the only Captain America?
If so, Captain America is dead. A flash in the pan t

One of the prerequisites of godhood in Anglo-Nordic thougth is benevolence toward divine and human society, so there has never been a *deity* of evil. "Evil deity" is, like, an oxymoron. Loki is no deity.

Maybe there should be a structural integrity rank? Perhaps based on the material strength of its frame for simplicity sake? If a building is hit with a major shock, at specific points (eg. the foundation or structural weak points) or over a great enough area, it must roll a feat against the rank of the damage or possibly collapse... or have it's structural integrity rank reduced. I'd be even more conservative in my estimations...
Fighting - the thrust of modern warfare is not personal HTH combat, and so this aspect of warfare is not stressed and excellence is not a prerequisite. I wouldn't rank your average specialized solider at more than Excellent, and would be more inclined to give them a Good with the addition of Martial Arts talent/s.

I think that i it is a foregone conclusion that if your *average* human could in any way compete with a superhuman, or even their lackeys, then there wouldn't be much need for *super*-heroes.
There are (or were) of course a fair number of mutants that aren't much more than average humans themselves, so provided a person could get the drop on one before powers came into play, a win is

Well, if we look at the matter purely from a writer's standpoint then, yeah, maybe Strange can lift it 'cause the writer wants him too.
According to the mechanics of the game the matter is almost as simple. If Strange has 1000+ karma and at least Rm Strength (easily achieved via a magic spell) he can. If not, he can't.
I personally go for a writer's perspective, and so t

I think that many people reject the idea of their bodies being "machines" because it usuaully comes with a connotation that they thus have no soul. But of course, the idea that the body is but a "shell" or a "horse" for the soul is nothing new... and becomes especially poignant in "warrior/heroic" cultures and beliefs.

I think that the difference between Thor's figthing ability and the Hulk's is best demonstrated in the fights of Royce Gracie in the early days of the UFC. It's not merely a matter of the various toys Thor has to play with. As Punstar said, Thor is warrior born, and rage simply cannot compete with talent and technical know how.
And as far as fighting spirit goes, the more that Thor despairs, the stronger his will to rise over and above it to triumph.
All the Hulk has is a childs rage. And yeah, strength and resilience, but there is nothin

I wouldn't liken Mr.B to either Xavier or Magneto... he just isn't ideological enough. He's pretty plain and simple... wants to protect his family and daughter, and bringing down the Company not only serves that end, but helps others as a by-product.

I don't think that we're underestimating Ultron. He's smart, has a tough shell, and pretty well none the the Avengers have the capacity to exploit it's real weaknesses.
Nimrod is also smart, quite resilient, can analyze weaknesses, and can "evolve" new technologies *on the spot*. He is fully capable of, and should be entirely expected to, both learn of and exploit

I dunno. None of Cap's physical abilities exceed human limits, but having peak limits in all areas is certainly beyond what any one human would ever be capable of achieving based on restirction imposed by frame, weight, height, and build.

Thus, if some thug with, say, Typical fighting tried to punch Spidey or Cap, and either of them decided he didn't want said thug to hit them and so focused on defense, said thug would automatically miss as h
