Sorry, I can't afford to hit a game convention, no matter how much I'd like to. Maybe if'n I get my character drawing down I'll attend next year to "sell some work", yeah... that's it....

It is a legality question of using the property of Marvel, DC etc. I believe. Its not hard to find pics, but the question is are you ALLOWED to use them. Marvel is pretty tough on people using their images.

Actually we've been through this before on prior threads, but yes bringing up an entirely unrelated rpg game on the main page when you are a new member on this board qualifies you as a board spammer. This board is about the Marvel Super Heroes RPG, which you have yet to even comment on in your excitement to sell people

Bah, Warlock your feeble psyche just means that touch spell will never reach me.. I FEAR NO WRATH!!! :.D

Yeah, The RoM is way to overpowered for me. It lets mages have more power han everyone else, with the balancing aspect only taking place for the few campaigns I've been in that actually take non-mission time into account.

Well, ther is a chance that that laser will hit the exact spot where iron man's armor is having a slight short AND it is at it has a slight flaw in the material.
IMO probability control should be almost handled like an NPC, where the judge determines how the players luck effects a situation. After all, it is basically a subconcious beast that protects the player form harm.

Hmm... lets see....
Magic definitely needs to be removed, who'd want that? Then we need to change the system to be based around Wolfspider, rather than Spiderman. Also TI needs to be incorporated into a stat. Plus another 50 or so columns on the table and 7 more colors for rolling, with some overlapping to have mixed effects.
Seriously
I'd like to see an improved MA system, simila

Hey, the majority of characters we have on this site aren't in marvel for whatever reason. There's no reason why Martial Arts can't reach those heights anyway. Besides, a couple more crouching tiger, hidden dragon kind of movies going mainstream and I can guarantee you there will be a new high powered martial artists in the books that WILL reach those heights.
Besides, there alr

Warlock,
Your campaign can be limited in that matter if you so choose, but not everyone feels that way. Thus the rules should be allowed to cover what people would like to play. Just because there isn't a character of that calibur currently doesn't mean that there never will be.
Why is it you use Dragonball Z like a swear anyway? The rules would create anything even remote close to

How much power a character can get is something I worry less about in Marvel then other games. After all, the rules need to cover a Martial Artist in any level campaign, not just the Daredevil-Spiderman level. Based upon the logic you used above, a robot could having all Amazings with 5 Monsterous powers. I was careful to have the Martial Artists balance out the way the other types of charact

Fangs,
I'm not so sure that having a huge list of Martial Arts Talents makes any more sense than using magic as a basis. It's not that it won't work, but it deviates too far from the way the game is currently set up for my taste. When it comes down to it, Martial Arts is just a way to explain how a character got his powers, the same as magic.
By making a set of semi powerful

The reason I include dimensional and universal energies in it is that there are some powers technically classified universal that Martial Artists may have (ie Teleportation ala Dragon). Also, a big theme in any genre is the "i don't have enough power to defeat that guy so I will call upon some ancient force to make a pact to gain power" As martial artists gain more power they wou

Finally got around to patching up my Martial Arts rules. The only thing I'd like is more Martial Arts specialty powers. I think they are what really set the Martial Artists apart from other types of characters.

Sorry, I've just been quick perusing and missed your question threat. Martial Arts Stunts would be particular tricks that a character knows in a style that are related to the talents but aren't really covered by them. For Example using Martial Arts A, you may develop a power stunt called 'Human projectile' where on a slam result you can direct the opponents flight towards an

The Talent stunt idea sounds pretty good and makes sense in conjustion w/ powers like Martial Arts. I also think it could work with electronics or other technical skills, where the user studies how to use parts from one thing to make another. Think GacGuyver the Super Hero.
As far as MA goes it makes more sense than having a huge list of combat maneuvers based on Real World Martial Arts. That

I go for powers. If they are just talented martial artists then the normal talents will work great. I just want a set of powers to represent the intellegent and resourceful martial artist.

Just a quick mention, I removed the naughty pciture of Warlock and placed something more fitting to character of his stature in its place. Same address, better pic. Definitely not the Mojoverse version.

Don't worry it's from an alternate parallel universe where Mojo rules and has decreed only those who can eat 50 pounds of spagetti a day are allowed to practice magic. Oh, and the X-Babies are there as well.

Thanks, that one took about 10 hours to finish, with coloring. I suspect my current pic (of another homegrown) will take closer to 5. The original pic I had took about 20 minutes.

If you want to hear their best stuff you need to get Lincoln, Flood, and Apollo 18. Those are the best 3 albums. Granted every other album is awesome too.
I still need to get The Spine and Mink Car. TMBG is my favorite band of all time.

Strong bad's telekinesis is limited to removing tops from things (hats, cold ones, etc. ). Although given his predilection for hotties, I'm surprised that he hasn't thought of other "tops" to pop off.
That site has gained more respect from me since they got TMBG to do a song for a video!
