Here is my experience. Whenever I read a volume of Ultimates, I am smiling and happy about how the storyline resolves. When I read 616, I am melancholy and fighting depression. I don't follow any other Ultimates title (FF, X-MEN, Spidey) but love the Ultimates. I read Civil Wars.

One or my true and loyal friends, who is also a FF fan and even bigger Silver Surfer fan, has vowed that if they screw this movie up, he will drive out to Hollywoodland and execute all responsible.
I love him so much, that I am sharpening my knives and getting ready for the bloodshedding.
I am going to see the film as early as possible on Sat 7/16/07.
If I at least like it, I will then drive

Can you do this with all of the Pokemon characters?
My daughter LOVES Pokemon. If I could combine her appreciation of the X-Men and Spider-Man with Pokemon, well, HOLY CRAP!
I would be nominated father of the year!!

Having had to sit through several of the Dr. Phil shows at my wife's insistance I may have a general idea.
You see, if I sit through an agonizing hour of that show, she will sit through an hour of "Heroes" on NBC. It's called "MARRIAGE". It sometimes require give and take.

The rationale is that Endurance determines if the character can travel the distance within one round.
In the ridiculous example of a character with Amazing Agility but Poor Endurance, she can cross two areas. If her Endurance is Remarkable or better, she has the stamina to run across three areas.
The cruel truth is that this is how Jeff Grubb desinged his game that we choose to play. If we do n

Who or what is Uluru?? Is he/she/it a giant dragon or a shape-shifter? A demon, of sorts?
You can see the portrait in the gallery at the 9th Wonders website and last night when Matt Parkman went to Issac's loft, just before he sees the painting that Sylar finished, you can see the painting of Uluru just beyond Parkman before he crosses over to the Kirby Plaza painting.

Sylar did die. His body was dragged away by whoever or whatever came up from under the city streets and did not bother to replace the manhole cover over the hole.
Remember Molly's comment about the person worse than Sylar. . .it can see her when she sees it.
Will whoever took Sylar resurrect him? Maybe, but if so the whole "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" was for naught

That makes sense. I also read Nightmask's post in response to mine and I think that this variant based on Heroclix is an interesting option for a Game Judge. The GJ just needs to tweak it to their tastes.
Imagine a speedster with Class 3000 rank;
Although dice can be cruel ( rolling a 01 when you need a 02 or better to hit) the odds are heavily favored that the speedster could hit easi

In Heroclix the Hypersonic Speed power gives the character two options.
1) The superspeedster can move to engage their foe, attempt to hit, and regardless if they succeeded move away. The foe does not get an "attack of opportunity".
In MSH terms, a speedster with a ground move of 15 areas could run up to a foe 5 areas away, attack once, then run away up to 10 areas away. The foe

You are correct about the other games and basic addition and subtraction being the cornerstone of their combat and damage systems.
Yet, MSH is simply a different animal. It's not like the other rpg games with regard to Experience and skill levels are factored against the target's agility or dexterity.
Or, like in the Chaosium system, an attack roll v. a parry or dodge roll.

Here is my take on it. . . if Peter had stopped the robber then that robber would not have bumped into Marko. Had Marko not been bumped into, he would not have shot Uncle Ben. Marko was a small time crook who was not a murderer by choice. Uncle Ben would have convinced him to put his gun away and run off.
From the comics, I grew up with the the knowledge that Uncle Ben was killed by the man t

T.I. is an awesome and wonderful power!!
Like it or not, Feeble T.I. drops Shift-Z (500) damage to a Shift-Y (200) damage. It drops Typical (6) damage to Feeble (4) damage. If you can't accept that, then don't permit it in your game. People who complain about T.I. can do so until they are blue in the face and passing out on the floor. Th

True Invulnerability exists in the UPB. There are those who want to exclude it or pretend that it never was written.
There are others who simply do not want to accept that it is a Rank reducer and not just a point reducer.
It made sense to me that a write up showed up with Adam Warlock having Good T.I., Captain Mar-Vell having Remarkable T.I. and Quasar having Monstrous T.I..

I run encounters with Agilty and Battle Expericence (Fighting) determining who can act first, with Intution (speed of thought v. speed of the physical) breaking the tie. Tied Intuitions default to dice rolling.

In my opinion Hayden-Church deserves an Oscar nomination for best supporting actor, and James Franco too.
In Franco's case, rememeber how happy he is in the hospital room to see MJ and Pete. Now contrast that with when his memory returns. He is a great actor.

The following was recorded for posterity in 1996 during "Victor Forever".
As a sub-plot , I permitted the player running Hardcase to happen to be caught up in the time storm that Victor had created and suddenly he was thrown into the mix with Captain America, Storm, and Quasar.
He and his Ultraforce comrade, Topaz, were travelling together, but Hardcase was separated from her.

The most dramatic change I made was instead of having Matt Murdock, Ben Grimm, and Crystal SHIELD agents, they formed that worlds Fantastic Four with Captain Mar-Vell of the Kree. I decided that in this timeline Mar-Vell did not die.

A power that Grubb revamped in his Basic Set back in '91 was Extra Attacks.
Here is the definition from Advanced Player's Book (86):
" This Power is always +1CS better than the starting Fighting Ability. Use this Power instead of Fighting to make multiple attacks. There is no penaly for failing with this roll, but the individual may make on one effective attack in that round.
