Still can't believe anyone could say Marvel comics are more sensible than DC comics (again, not that DC make any sense at all).

I think nowadays Superman's secret identity isn't really considered protected by the glasses primarily. It's the fact that noone would ever think that ordinary, hard working journalist Kent is IN REALITY THE MIGHTY SUPERMAN!!
The good Dr. Archeville got it right (as usual, I might add): Superman is a demigod, wears tights and saves the world. Clark writes columns for the Daily Bug

I'm doing something similar to Oldben in my group.
More than three actions aren't allowed without appropriate super powers that explicitely give you extra attacks. The two or three actions can be divided between any offensive or defensive actions though.
Two actions require a Rm FEAT, three requires Am. The LOWEST stat used is used for the pre-action roll. This means that a great hand

Agreed Tormain, It wasn't Ben Afflecks fault that Daredevil was a terrible film. That was due to grunge Bullseye and cute leather chick Elektra. Oh, and the horrible script as well. And lazy directing.

What's the deal with considering Nicolas Cage for everything? Is it just him being a super hero comics fan? I agree: Cage as Ghost Rider would be terrible!
Not half as bad as casting him as John Constantine though. That seems to be out by now (if the movie is still on). The bad news is they're apparently considering Keanu "I might as well be CGI" Reeves instead. Ouch!

Oh, goody!
With the text for page 3 and 5 I can really get going.
Fangs, at the risk of getting tedious: what email do you prefer I send stuff to. If you are hestitant to tell us here in public, just mail me on my profile address.
Or would you rather I don't contact you privately at all?

For "hardly read" in the above, read "can't read".
I can't make out a third of the names on that content page, especially the obscure people who I've never heard of.
If I could, I could put them in by hand. But, well, I can't. :-)

Alrighty, then! I'll go ahead with the pdf-ification of your scans Fangs. Which one of your e-mailaddresses do you prefer to handle contacts by?
And I'd really, really need a better scan of the contents page (page 3), since I can hardly read it myself. My OCR-program doesn't stand half a chance.

So far I've just gotten the hang of my OCR-reader, which I'm actually using for the first time. I've put together the first couple of pages and made a small pdf from them just to try it out. It looks fair enough...
Two questions:
1) Fangs, are you getting my mails? I tried using the address below your name on the site you refferred us to, since I imagined that was what you prefer

Fair enough. I'll get them from your site instead then, Fangs. Don't bother sending them to me as well.
Thanks! Hope I can make them work.
By the way, most of you guys prefer Letter size paper, right?

Fangs, I'll contact you from home, and give you my best e-mailadress from there. I'm a bit hesitant to use it openly on the Internet, mainly because of the spambots.
I'll get in touch.

This site is great! I never realized the hatred that exists between ninjas and pirates before I visited Real Ultimate Power!
We had a great debate at barbelith.com once, whether ninjas or pirates were more cool (all because of this site). The general consensus was that pirates are way cooler, just from having Errol Flynn on their side. And parrots. And wooden legs.
But the purpose of a ninja IS

Fangs: have you just scanned them as jpg:s so far? I guess I could give it a try to make pdf:s of them, using an OCR reader and Acrobat...
18 megs is a bit heavy for my e-mail account, though, but I guess I could handle it if you divided it into portions. Interested?

I agree! Yeah, baby, indeed!
Fast paced, great characters and a lot of fun! And nice little details for us super hero freaks as well. There are old Marvel characters in every little corner!
I'm pretty sure it worked well as a movie in general as well, since my wife really liked it. And she's not really very fond of American super hero comics at all.
But Franklin Richards? Where was t

This is great Taskmaster. I have the same problem as the others with downloading part two of B, but apart from that: Big thanks for your work!
On another note: Zipping isn't really neccessary for pdf-files. They're compressed to begin with, so zipping is just needless hassle. Just link directly to the files.
If you look at the compression ratio of your zipped files you'll notice

Mr Fantastic. But that's just because Kyle Rainer wasn't on the list :-).
Oh, well, could have been worse. But I would have preferred Nightcrawler. His suit is much cooler, what with the pointy shoulder things and all.
And I did pick teleportation as my preferred power. So it would only be fair!

Morrisson has said that he wants to push the whole soap opera bit of the X-men comics even further than usual. According to Morrisson, soaps are his inspiration for the whole "evil twin" idea of Cassandra Nova.
I never saw anyone run their hands through someone's head in The Bold and The Beutiful though. But I might have missed that particular episode...

wal_lace: No, the Vikings weren't really a people. No one at the time referred to themselves as the Viking people.
But we today do use the word Viking for the Scandinavians who regulary went out on long trips to trade and steal during the 9:th to 11:th century (give or take a century or two, depending on how you count).
Heck, we even refer to the entire period as the Viking Age here in Sca

Just one thing: gene-splicing requires a facility with In Resources and geneticists with a total of Un Reason. Shouldn't there be a requirement for at least a project leader with above avarage Reason?

They should have negative hyper-running for one round only, since they always start running by spinning their legs really fast without actually moving.
Luckily, the ghosts always stand still and flail their arms until Scooby and Shaggy actually start moving. This also implies some kind of temporary paralysis ability from Scooby and
