Intensity versus intensity would be important here, to simulate a great fighter easily disarming a novice. And a novice rarely disarming a veteran.
So don't forget intensity comparison or whatever that mechanic is called. My brain... stuck. Help?

In my campaign world, he can use it multiple times. A good alternative for actually taking damage would be setting up a seperate "account" with 100 health (or whatever it is) and when he reaches the bottom of that, he passes out for an hour or whatever.
But remember "game balance". If Danny is involved in a street level campaign against thugs and so on, and the toughest cha

You have a 21 year old child. And what staying power. It's still in demand, in book form and on the net. I spent hours flipping through my copy. Well, happy birthday to the UPB and congraduations to you.
And just in case that seems too @#$%&-kissey, let me take a moment to say, as one of the 49,988, "Jeez, Mr. Martin. You're old."

Thank God you shared this. Now, I'm keeping my eyes open for such sites (and sights) locally...
By the way, I think the most important thing I learned tonight is YOU look exactly the way I pictured you... kind of avuncular and professorial but with mischievous twinkle in your eye...
If you're offended, does it mean I'm right?

I think I've actually run into this guy, but it took me a day or two to remember. But now I know where I saw him: Wasn't he in a Marvel / DC crossover? Maybe a Bats and Spidey shinn dig?
He actually seemed like he could be fairly dangerous. All those typicals in FASE look a little low to me. But I do appreciate your write up, not trying to be critical.

My high intuition tells me, by looking at your screen name, that you are a huge Marvel fan.

Well, we are pretty diverse here, and always welcome new people who have an interest in ANY superheroes. So welcome! I'm sure some members will be able to let you know about groups either in progress or starting up.

I've been to Deviant Art; in fact, it's bookmarked in my Favorites, and I'm not even an artist. I just like to look. Which sounds perverted. I've probably seen some of your art; after all, there's only 32 million pieces of art on there. Well, welcome, and good luck with your aquisition plan.

Your subject title sounds like a weird sci-fi inspired country song:
"Aliens, androids and clones"

aliens, androids and clones...
Robots and karma,

My God, David, some of those on your list were gone before I was even born... and I'm old! I remember watching some black and white reels on a projector of The Bat Man or something, and he just drove a regular car around, but while wearing his batman costume. Instead of saying, "To the Batmobile!" he'd say, "To the car!"
I saw that maybe 30 years ago, and it was R

OK, there. That is a link to my picture online... and a column I wrote for our newspaper in Iowa, yet is for some reason appearing in a newspaper called the Meadville Tribune. I do not know where Meadville is.
Anyhow, there are better pictures of me. But I don't know how to post them. And this one is already on line. Laziness wins over vanity.

Man, Tystates, thank you for posting this! I'm not saying it's the complete, perfect answer, but it certainly helps with my grasp of this "subjective" appearing Attribute.
So someone could argue, "People who get A's in school are just good at taking tests" or whatever, but the explanation you found, taken as a whole, is a helpful PART of understanding these

You deserve a hug and a slap on the back. Which now won't cause a couphing fit.
I hope if something crappy comes up in your life (and you KNOW obstacles always appear) you will find some other way to ease the pain, and take solace in the fact that you do have control over SOMETHING in your life. The desire to smoke.

That Art Guy makes sense, but maybe there should be a chance to hit Spidey on a 00 (double O) roll. And just for a Green result! So, a bullet fired by a thug could nick Spidey superficially one in a hundred times.
But just giving Spidey (or even Dare Devil) a Dodge Roll that reduces a thug from Good to Shift Zero still does not reflect "comic book reality" so something would have to

I do like an opposed system, like in DC Mayfair. But it certainly is more complex to teach and learn and use.
However, I've always thought that an enhanced dodging ability needs to be resolved on an opposed type system. Otherwise, when thugs are shooting at Spider-man, they will hit him three out of ten times even when he is dodging.
That does NOT reflect comic book reality. Common

We started with Dungons and Dragons when I was, I think, in Jr. High School, which would have been about 1982 or so. My freind introduced me, and I was just FLOORED! I'd never even heard of role playing games. I took the books home, eventually got my own, and started a habit that continues to this day: I like playing by myself, just in my mind with the books to help guide me. I mean, I playe
