::yawn:: I've heard people say worse when I was in second grade. it's the internet, people are a lot ballsier when they can say what they want behind the safety of a computer screen. Accept. Move on. If you let it get to you, the other guy has already won.

Out of curiosity...
How would one model the Lion ships of Voltron? Would you model them as vehicles with stats based on speed, control, etc? Or would you treat them as Power Armor, with an increase to the stats of the given pilot? And how would the piloting talent affect either scenario?
Further, when the Lion ships merge to form voltron, do you give Voltron a FASERIP, or do you treat

I think Nightmask might be on more the right track. Tanker has some interesting views, but I think psyche will always over ride powerset. Just because one's creation powers may alleviate need for sustinence of whatever type, doesn't mean one's conscious mind accepts such thinks to be cogent or possible, thus a psychological limitation would impede such de facto immortality.

I've been reading Iron Fist's new series which is really enjoyable, by the by. There are some things that I think he may have only done once that are listed up there that shouldn't be part of his day-to-day repertoire.
As it currently stands, I would give Iron Fist the following FASERIP:
F - AM [50]
A - IN [40]
S - TY [6]
E - RM [30]
R - GD [10]
I - RM [30]
P - RM [30]

Well that game was supposed to be geared towards little kids, so form would probably hold sway over function.

Just because i say that comics aren't inviolate doesn't mean that comics 'are for kids'. it means that we're dealing with a mutable medium and setting that isn't designed to be static. Just as with any fiction, characters develop and change, be it in regards to their persona or psyche, or their physical being as well.
And while asthetic change for its own sake m

Don't get me wrong, i don't necessarilly think these ideas are /good/ per se'. but it's just easier to put C list characters through more drastic changes without much fuss than it is the A list. For instance, attempts to bring about drastic change to the Spider-Man Character, specificly the Clone Saga, and One More Day. Just to be clear, i think both of these stories are re

If anyone actually bought enough issues to warrant an Inhumans, Tigra, Starjammers, or Mystique ongoing series, then people might actually care. But they don't so they're fodder. Any attempt at getting these characters ongoings have all wound up being 50 cent bin material.

Actually being a fan of Cable...
His inconsistencies are due strictly to the fact that his power levels have fluctuated more than once over the past few years since he was introduced back in 89-90
But the reasons for his depowerings are usually cogent. Such as the TO virus requiring so much of his focus that he can't utilize his powers at their full potential. Currently, his Telepat

it's all relative.
No matter what the number is, there's a number bigger than it. So really it all boils down to what kind of scope you're gaming in. if it's mega power and what not, scale up the threats. if it's X-Level, scale it down. The only issue that comes in is when you have people in the 80 some odd health range trying to tangle with the 325ers where the di

I don't think that anyone expects the other corps to be as effective as the Green Lanterns and the Sinestro Corps. Eve though, the GL corps was only recently rebuilt itself, so a severe number of lanterns are themselves, rookies. But the war itself is just a prelude to the real climax of Blackest Night. So the War of Light itself I think is just another of the dominoes falling. But also k

But on the plus side, the Sinestro Corps war was too awesome for words, and i lookforward to Blackest Night. 2009 can't come fast enough.
