What power would you choose?

You brought up which power set. I was using 'suite' in that context.

Another power that would be cool stems from an old tv show and I can't remember it's name, but the main character could freeze time by touching her two pointer fingers together and resume it by putting her palms together. When I'm really really tired and don't want to get up with the alarm clock, I wish I had that power. It would also come in handy in pressure situation to let you think about what you're saying before you actually say it.

So you'd like the watch from The Girl, The Gold Watch, and Everything? :) Simply great movie, and loved the song for it, and the way its creator distracted you from its real purpose was pure genius.

That sounds like the girl from the X23 book. She could freeze time as well (or at least slow it down).

Well they had two movies featuring the watch that could stop time, the one featured Pam Dawber as the love interest (and *gasp* brief nudity), and was titled The Girl, The Gold Watch, and Everything. The sequel wasn't as good and had Morgan Fairchild as the main antagonist and was titled The Girl, The Gold Watch, and Dynamite. They also used a different woman for the roll Pam played in the first movie, but kept the lead male I think and the support female who'd been the secretary to the lead male's uncle when he was alive, and the one who created the watch.

Aroo? I thought it was a Nickelodeon movie called Clock Stoppers.

They might have had a movie but the ones I've listed came earlier, decades earlier.

No, but if you replaced phasing with communication with nonliving objects, it'd work better.

For 3 powers.

1-Grafting (Still one of my faves)

2-Regeneration (Just in case I cant use Grafting on myself)

3-Shapeshifting (The stunt potential alone is enough to want it.)

Shape Shifting......

So I could make Ninja Blades with my fingers and toes...RAZZZZZZOOOR Sharp...... You just never know... One may need a knife on the foot.......

OR Giant Hammers...... You know, my whole upper body just transform into a GIANT HAMMER...... With spikes...... And pointy things......... And maybe some poison......... Maybe...

OR simply engulf people and cut off their oxygen supply..... And watch 'em turn BLUE....... Or just go up some orifice............ and give Pleasure or Pain............... You know, It... It could be possible.....

Ummmmmmm, since I'd be like "Bubble Gum"..... It probably has some defensive qualities as well..... Aside from Volcanic Heat and Arctic Cold........... But you know..... a punch wouldn't hurt..... probably.

Or you could Change your consistency....... be like Water, or maybe Steel..... Or maybe even Titanium or Platinum 'n' Diamonds.......... You know, if I needed "GRILL" in my "MUG"

Or Wings so I could fly.... With 1 Angel-Wing and 1 Bat-Wing..... and ummmmmm a big giant propeller-esk type thing-a-ma-bob on my back...... Shaped like a Jet Turbine.... ummmmmm I guess...... Maybe 2 of those Jet-Motor Thingies....... Twice as fast I guess.. I dunno....

Or to be a MASTER of Disguise...... I can look Old.... Young.... Beefy Jock...... Dashing Actor..... Or the Non descript person too...... or the best yet.......... Transforming into HOT female celebrities to see what they REALLY look like totally in the Buff.........

OR the best Yet...... I'd make a FUGGEN Go-Zillion Dollars in the porn industry..... It's needs to be "THIS" big..... No that's...... That's just too Damn Big....... It needs to be white... It needs to be black.... pink head...... tan head....... smooth...... vainy...... circumcised.... got the skin...... whatever.....

Just for something a little different I want Focus.

Seems like a cool thing to be able to channel all of your personal energies into one Primary Ability. For normal humans that allows you to do things like run, resist disease, problem solve, and punch with superhuman or almost superhuman ability.

A person with all Typical stats could Focus any Primary Ability to Incredible. Not bad.

Plus the Ultimate Powers Book says if I roll Focus I get to roll for another Power. Since we are choosing I'll take the Power Cosmic. (Do I get a surfboard with that?)

But after you Focus, you are spent and helpless for a while.

Depends on your Power Rank somewhat, if you have a high enough rank your recovery of spent points goes awfully fast, especially if you have relatively low stats and few other powers. Someone with the right combination of stats and Focus power rank could be focusing every few turns without much trouble. All Excellent stats with an Excellent power along with Monstrous Focus and focus that into any of his FASERIP or the power and he could be totally recovered in two turns. Even Excellent rank focus would see him fully recovered in eight turns. As long as you've got allies around to give you that breathing room you can go Shift X in any one FASERIP or power like that once a minute. Of course it'd be more reasonable not to flaunt it as you don't want villains to plan for it when the obligatory death-trap comes up but some might enjoy it that way.

One of my characters has that set up. He can get to Unearthly on any single stat and recovers within three rounds.

It is a great way to get higher ranks for a short period of time. Even though there is a time of weakness.
