Would end up quite rediculous having all of them be immortal in some fashion wouldn't it? Then again a lot of villains are likely under death-penalty conviction in various state and federal jurisdictions, but they break out or get broken out all the time so thanks to appeals they never end up having to worry about it. I'm curious what campaign would have so many vampires in it (or oth

Well all you'd really need to do is decapitate him, since that'd take out Wolverine it'd wipe out Sabertooth too (unless of course someone with suitable abilities recovered the head and body in time to reconnect them and let his healing factor fix the remaining damage). It doesn't happen in the comics since they want to keep him around, same reason with Wolverine. Plus heroe

Well the spike to her head appears to have been to show she does have limitations to what she can handle. Presumably decapitation would kill her, particulary if topped off with something to destroy her body. Ground zero for a bomb that scatters or destroys enough of her body would be outside her ability (like the nuke we've got future knowledge of).

I think the limitation set on Reed for his mental stats is an error that cropped up somewhere, since Reed and Doom were clearly neck and neck in college, and it was Reed who discovered the mistake Doom made in his calculations for his machine to contact his mother's spirit. Plus you can hardly go by Doom's declarations he's the most brilliant around, just saying it doesn't ma

I would have to agree at least that Amazing seems valid. Seems like too much of the argument against ignores the fact that some other examples of that level of reason didn't have their careers interrupted and had the opportunity to continue inventing. Also there are more than a few occasions where gome gadget of Reed's has failed in its first test run or performed unexpectedly that

Considering in one episode Sam is shown to walk when the person he was possessing was a war vet with his legs blown off above the knees (and freaking out the abusive hospital staff member who saw him as a floating torso with no visible means of support) it's definitely not a mind-swap, but an illusion of his normal body appearing like whoever he is. We've also seen evidence of it being

The show's lasted as well as it has likely thanks to the more character and plot-driven format. It makes the audience more interested in things by drawing them in, and once they have an interest in the characters you can get them to not mind the super-powers and accept them in the context of the show. When you do get to see some super-action it makes it more impressive too than if it'

Thanks, I like to be as accurate and informative as I can be, and like I said I just loved her as a character and felt just one issue to her was a shame. Then again I miss her from how she was back then too, before they reworked her character so much. To show how much I enjoyed the story I haven't been able to reread it in at least 10 years but I can still remember both the original comic

Lucky, wish I had them. I can still remember sneaking to stay up at night to watch them, and trying to find them (since that was when CBS loved to shuffle programs around without any kind of announcement as to when they were running). You know some power had to be watching over him to survive everything he did (although apparently it only kept him alive and intact and not much beyond that, cons

It's not meant to be a blanket endorsement, but even in the comics you see characters like Captain America either beheading or trying to behead or stake Baron Blood, Dracula, and other vampires he's encountered. Some creatures, even if sentient, simply don't fit in the same category with other types of villains. That's why when Mephisto's demon hordes are overruning you

For those concerned with roughly when this divergence occured it was shortly after Dazzler consumed Klaw after being kidnapped by Project:Pegasus (they had a problem of doing that during that time period to study energy-manipulating superhumans). The power surge brought her to Galactus' attention, who required her unique abilities for a task (recovering Terrax from a Black Hole he was hidin

I wouldn't think so, certainly not for evil or demonic undead like vampires generally are. They qualify more as monsters even though they are sentient, and particularly the various kinds of vampires are depraved creatures without redeeming qualities. The rare good member of the grouping would be a different story however. Hannibal King was turned to a vampire but refused to kill or feed o

Well cosmic entities often have perks lesser beings don't. There have been other instances where Captain America's shield has been damaged or altered, including being morphed into a giant crab by the last person to use the AIM cosmic cube before it began to evolve to its next level. I do understand why you don't like seeing his shield being susceptable to damage/destruction by an

Seems like a lot of focus on inflicting damage and hammering the individual with True Invulnerability to defeat them, when it doesn't really give any benefit against things like suffocation or being restrained or similar activities. Unearthly T.I. might be nice but if all you have is excellent strength you're definitely not immune to defeat by any stretch.

I'd considered that, but it'd put him on par with the Celestials, and after having some of his power drained off in the creation of Kosmos he's no longer in the league with Eternity, plus the power rank doesn't have to be equal to or greater than the power rank of something the power is used against, it depends on the power. Actually while he seemed to stop doing it in the comic for years Magneto liked to interrogate someone by grabbing them and manipulate the flow of blood through their brain in order to force information out of them (such as when he forced Bova to reveal that she had in fact delivered his children by Mardra and that the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were in fact his children).

Something to remember, while it's rarely mentioned, a device called a molecular rearranger can remold true adamantium, an since it likely operates on electromagnetic principles there's no reason that Magneto couldn't replicate its ability to reshape adamantium when he ripped the adamantium from wolverine's bones.

If memory serves it was right after Dr. Strange shut down Wanda's mind to stop her manipulation of reality.
