Yes they've been way overusing him as the 'racial balance' character and leaving him way too two-dimensional. At least if they gave him some depth it'd be okay, although they really ought to go with Hal Jordon, or better yet an encounter with an alien GL coming after some of the escapees from the zone (maybe even have the episode cover the transfer of the ring from the dying

Don't forget that the Supreme Court's bought off too, Iron Man made it quite clear that NO appeals whatsoever would be adjudicated in favor of any prisoner dragged off to the Negative Zone. When Spider-man brought up She-Hulk's legal efforts on the captured super-humans behalf IM told him the legal system was effectively denied to them, so there is no way to fight the law within t

*chuckles and nods* I remember Leno showing someone sold an EMPTY X-box 360 box for over twice the cost of an actual game. You have to wonder how stupid the bidders were to bid on a clearly marked empty box for that much.

Depends, right now the retarded ones are the ones who AREN'T reselling their playstations for twice, three times, or more and enjoying the profit. They can always buy up another one later for the original or lower price and still have all that profit to apply to games (if they want to waste it like that). I don't see the value in waiting in line for days for something like that anyway

I'm sure that'll bother Thor less than the fact that the fake murdered a hero and did so in his image. If they have him show up at some dramatic moment he's not the kind to hesitate to destroy all the clones, especially of him, in a battle rage. They're soleless machines, not like the short-lived clone of Dr. Doom or those of the Fantastic Four created by Aron the Rogue Watc

Someone introduced him to Oreos and he became quite addicted to them. Whenever problems would get too much he'd grab a bag of Oreos, some milk, and go off to medidate. It even became one of those running jokes in the background for a while. They likely tweaked some of his powers for the TV series too, and considering he showed up after the events of escapees from the Phantom Zone he might

Wow, there are still sealed copies of some of the classic Marvel RPG boxed sets and books around?! No wonder that scan of the cover looks so pristine.

I hadn't had a clue at first, until I saw the oreos and realized it wasn't some unique new villain/hero they'd introduced for the show. They were the only quirk solidly tied to the Martian Manhunter in the comics. Nice to see them expanding the overall super-heroic community, so we can actually see the birth of the Heroic Age as it happens.

I wonder if the cost of reproducing the effects of a power ring would be comparable to the other special effects to make having a Green Lantern show up possible. Then again since Krypton was apparently part of the overall galactic community instead of isolationist in the comics (else the Phantom zone wouldn't have the most heinous criminals from around the galaxy), having one show up lookin

Well all dice are percentiles, just different percentile ranges, or curves for what numbers should come up more often. I assume some use other dice set-ups to meet some thought on their part to keep results in a certain range, like D&D favoring 3D6 to bell-curve most characters in the middle range.

I think the Oreo gives it all away, since that's the character trait that they added to him during the Justice League Europe era as one of his quirks, and don't seem to have wiped it out during all these revisions since then. Will be interesting to see how they develop that, along with having an almost regular guest-star in the new version of Green Arrow (although more like Green Cross

Thanks for such quick response about the spam, much appreciated. It amazes me though how much effort they put into finding every possible area to dump their junk onto, that they actually found the forum here and promptly started dumping junk into it.

Not much point being on a board or part of a group that is like that anyway, since it just detracts from enjoying such a fine game as this one. I learned about it when I happened to be in a now closed Waldenbooks near where I live and found the Ultimate Powers Book in their gaming section, bought it, and loved it so much I made every effort to buy everything I could for the game. The Mephitisoids are an anthropomorphic skunk-like (NOT Felinoid as has been erroneously listed) race that exists within the Shi'ar empire after being forcibly annexed during one of the empire's expansionist phases. As a proud and primitive people often prone to rebelling against unwanted Shi'ar rule they are treated as a slave race by the ruling Shi'ar empire and often subje

I've had some concerns about the Endurance Rank per hour recovery rate being too fast really. A person could have all Unearthly physical stats, get beaten down to zero health and feeble endurance and recover completely in just over a week (eight and one third days exactly). Endurance per day seems more reasonable, but I realize as often as heroes get beaten down and most lack even low-leve

I'd say she has Linguistics as either a power stunt or inherent sub-power, since she could learn japanese and speak it almost fluently just from a book. Definitely agree on Total Memory as her main power though. If Hiro does save her would be interesting to see what contributions she'd make to the show, especially after a trip to the library. :)

Consider the flipside of Dagger becoming a herald. She's got experience using her energies to feed Cloak's hunger (which in a sense is just a mortal-level version of Galactus' hunger), so perhaps as a herald she could feed him. Although there seems to be a cosmic requirement that Galactus gain his energies from a planetary biosphere (since his hunger has grown as the number of su

Have to agree with you on all those, the Beyonder as we saw in during the two Secret Wars was the best. With the way he erased an entire galaxy just to set up his lab, and his final fight with the Molecule Man. I just hope they update his stats on here to something more in keeping with his true abilities, as we've seen in the comics. I do wonder where he's been lately, although with

If all the gaming is online then you should be able to adjust the RP in order to not require those kinds of concerns without hurting the game overall. I've seen a number of RP MU's online that have managed to handle the problem reasonably well. Haven't found any Marvel MU's though, although wouldn't mind creating one.

Hmmmm, it WOULD be interesting, come to think of it. Galactus started as a relatively mortal being in the previous universe and must have needs he's had to bury for billions of years after being reborn as a singular being. He's also suffering an increase in his hunger that seems tired to the increase in habitable worlds (hence his moving from centuries to just a month between meals).

True, now they're generally just outright trying to kill him. They could use a few fans to catch those errors though, I agree. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh eye that's too involved in the process to catch the obvious mistakes made while trying to tell a good story.

Mmmmm, love that imagery, and I must have missed the comic they were creating the false hammer in. I can see why the gov't has kept the hammer so under wraps then, don't want any true hero putting that power to use against them. Not too happy with Black Goliath being the one the clone killed though, considering how much of a whipping boy his character's been. While he was certai

Considering Lana's reaction to finding he had cameras in her room and seeing some footage of her getting ready to undress I'd say Lex does have cameras everywhere, but either the footage of Clark interfering has him moving too fast to view or else somehow the video footage gets destroyed. I think the writers have had a break-down in logic when it comes to Thor's Hammer too, it only serves the worthy, and that Thor clone is so obviously murderous and unworthy it's not funny. I just hope they don't try and dismiss it at the end as some evil master-villain behind it all, rather than leave it as it is; bad or outright immoral choices on the part of elected officials and other misguided but well-meaning people. It'll suck any thought-provoking impact it otherwise would have, taking such a cheap out.
