I think it uses the revised table for checking feats on. Blue for 0CS, white for -2CS, green for -4CS, yellow for -6CS, and red for -8CS. So the higher the feat the more column shifts an attack is reduced by. I could be wrong but it seems to make sense.

I have to agree, for most of his career the Hulk was simply a child-mind in a vastly powerful body, lashing out whenever attacked but rarely initiating things (and then often because he misinterpreted an innocent gesture). He knew in a limited way right from wrong and often put himself on the line to save others. I hope they do indeed finally evolve him beyond his psychological traumas and merg

Not all the Illuminati though, the plans for betraying the Hulk caused at least one of them to leave the group over it. Namor tried to warn them that the Hulk would be back and he'd be in the right to pay them back in the same coin. He's been a more intelligent and manageable being for years now, unlike his childlike 'Hulk Smash' days, who didn't rate such betrayal.

The drive to make one as special as one thinks one is has led many to their downfall, and brought about a lot of terrible events. Cypher/Doug Ramsey (the kid with the language translation power) ended up dead trying to keep up and show he was just as capable as his more powerful teammates (which he obviously wasn't but he wasn't willing to accept that), and Syler's running around

Well, he does seem to have latched onto the notion that everyone around him is no more different than one of the broken watches he worked on, so why not 'disassemble' them to see how they work and 'fix' them? That'd be more in the sociopathic area I'd think. He's only seeing himself as real and therefore free to do whatever he feels like to advance his agenda.

Hard to say, but he definitely seems to have been set-off by the initial encounter with the professor, without whom he would have likely remained just a talented watch repairman. Once he had the clue he was able to examine anything he quickly set about exploiting it for his own benefit. Something we might just see in the next episode is an ability to adapt defences to the powers of others, effe

I haven't gotten to see it yet but I'm sure it is impressive, since the Punisher respects Spider-man even though they differ on how to deal with criminals. We also know to the insane mind of Iron Man anyone who's not pro-SRA is an enemy to be destroyed, just look how quickly he attacked Spider-Man as his warrantless eavedropping let him know about Peter's realizing he was on

Not been on the board long enough to know when such a debate might have occured, but what do you mean by dated exactly? Standing up for heroic ideals when the world is sliding more and more into the darkness isn't dated, and they don't have to have feet of clay or dark flaws to connect to people today. Check out the extras DVD for Unbreakable by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Bruce W

Considering Reed'd current betrayal of just about everything he really believed (after all he helped shut down past attempts at registration), including that beloved uncle of his, he'd likely be even easier to take out due to the mental stress leaving him even more vulnerable during a fight. However if/when he breaks down and does the right thing he's also the best placed to relea

Depending on the fine level of control telekinesis can be used to affect molecular motion, i.e. heat, so by slowing down molecules you effectively freeze them, although the most commonly seen use is pyrokinesis, namely fire-starting and control. So yes Syler might have simply been using his telekinesis rather than a 'cool new power', although if he can absorb powers from other specials

You seem to either forget or ignore the fact that the legal system is only going through the motions and pretending to do its job so that the public goes 'well see, they had a chance to change things, got their representation, they just lost', when they had nothing of the sort. It's no better than when the Supreme Court said 'Oh well we _should_ hear the case of all these jap

That it was, although I never liked how often they did Spider-man What-If?s and had things going even worse for him in nearly all of them. Of all of those I've read my favorites are What If Dazzler became a herald of Galactus? and What If Thor battled Conan, an encounter that by the end looked set up for Conan to become a demigod or god. It was very impressive.

Afraid I've no idea what issue number that was, I missed many of them and most of the What-If? comics from the original run I have were picked up as used at various comic shops. I hate that I never got the one with Dr. Doom as a hero, but can remember reading it on the comic rack as a kid.

I believe the rematch was interrupted by police snipers who ignored Cap's instructions to remain out and let him handle it, shooting Conan's second in command who took the hit for him. At that point Cap planted the seed of being more than a leader of some street gang and being something more, at which point as he's pondering that it fades out. I believe that What-if? was a contin

It's disgusting how even if the superheroes want to leave they're being hunted down like traitors for not signing away their freedom and joining the growing police state, so they can't even leave in protest over it. Considering how they're going after even relatively normal humans like the Punisher, who has only exceptional training, then by that reasoning ANY exceptionally t

Since Wolverine was fighting with patterns Conan saw through them and nearly beheaded Wolverine with the sword. Unfortunately that'd probably be too much of a fast-tracking for the legal system, but certainly a 'lethal force authorized' while attempting to apprehend a known convicted serial killer like Nitro would be possible. Plenty of people around with the mindset to work a special enforcement division to track those types down. He's not immortal/invulnerable, just succeeds because

That or could turn Nathan into a season 2 villain, going for the classic familiy rivalry with one going into being a hero and the other into villainy (much like Wonder Man and the Grim Reaper). After all losing the election would seriously tick him off, and seeing as he's in bed with criminals already wouldn't take much more than that to tip him to full villainy. Given that flight wou

True, plus being in a bus where she couldn't see the potential victims she likely had that tunnel vision where all she saw was Nitro, who was a good choice of villain considering he's always been portrayed as casually murderous and unconcerned with how many he could kill at any time. I wish they'd picked some other characters to set things off though, the New Warriors got a seriously raw deal on that. Particularly since Speedball could have contained Nitro in an energy bubble that would have absorbed his explosion (and as we've seen in the past if he's contained it also tends to render him unconscious if he's prevented from exploding). Slapstick would ha

To the best of my knowledge he's only a DC character and Marvel never had a similarly named hero or villain. Also for a brief bit of DC history there was a limited period of time when a number of power rings existed with different colors, including a Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow power ring, equally as powerful as the Green.

Except Iron Man made it quite clear ANY effort to work from the inside would fail because even the Supreme Court was bought and every attempt to modify, repeal, or invalidate the law blocked out of hand. When you know the system is rigged so you can't win you have to go outside the system and fight it that way instead.

Well Etrigan rhymes because it indicates his rank/status in Hell's heirarchy, and backward magic can only be worked by a very special few, and when it come to Zatanna in particular well she was a victim of the fashion sense of the days that rarely dressed a female up in something that wasn't more fitting to the Playboy Club than battling magical evil.
