All cool ideas. Thanks for the input and thoughts. This is all in the initial planning stages but thought it might be a fun concept to run with.

Good point. If my group decides to play these guys they will have final say on where stats go. Kind of just threw them together for a main concept.

Been wondering about the rules for having a weapon like Wolverine's claws or a sword made of a material strength greater then what it is striking. How exactly does this work? For example if someone has remarkable 30 material strength body armor and I attack with an unearthly 100 adamantium sword, what happens?

Came up with a concept for a new superhero/villain group. Basically three rockers were touring and like the Fantastic Four, were exposed to energy that made them induced mutants.
My concept so far are three characters, each with two powers. I gave them stats of 1 amazing, 2 incredible, 2 excellent, 2 good...just to start. They would be able to raise one +1CS. Not worried about that now or

Well my own character Gamble recently. He was fighting some alien creatures on the hull of a spacecraft. They were possessed super strength and he wrongfully assumed that belts they were wearing were granting the strength or fighting prowess. He bullseye shot a belt causing it to explode and guess what, it was what was keeping the alien alive in space through a lesser type of Micro-Environment

Hahaha, okay what about normal people in the sense of "law enforcement, military, etc..."?

Been thinking about running a marvel campaign myself. What I originally thought about was taking "normal" everyday people and thrust them into a situation where they are dealing with heroes and/or villains. Instead of searching through tons of characters and jotting down which might be able to be defeated by normal people...I figured I'd turn it into a topic.

What made me think about checking it out was the first "Guyver" movie that I just saw. So I'm assuming the one portrayed in the movie...but any would work more or less.

I imagine someone has done "The Guyver" already, but searching back 20 or so pages and I haven't found anything on it. Also did a search that was popping up "error" after "error". This was just on the other day and thought it was kind of a cool concept.
Thanks in advance for someone pointing me in the right direction or writing it up.

Well the main use I would find helpful and hardly game breaking would be to use time travel to build things without interfering with the rest of the group. Basically not wasting game time building and creating and getting to the group adventure and role-playing.

Personally I'd say Typical with flesh and Poor without. I don't really recall the T-800 moving with agility and or grace of a Good rank. He seemed kind of slow to react and deliberate of movement. Not very nimble or graceful at all. Good is pretty darn good, no pun intended.

Well the key point here is it is impossible to change the past, but what about the present? That is the key difference in many of these situations. As for changing the future....that is a whole different question in itself.
Yes as a DM you can come up with a million and one ways to mess with anything the player decides to do. In the end though what is the proverbial "wish ring" sy

In the above examples Gamble would make new Gateways every time he uses them. He does not care about saving Gateways. So he would create a Gateway back in time or forward....do whatever, then make a Gateway back to a second after he left.
The reason Gateway is more apt to work for this is because Time Travel takes 1-100 turns to make the trip. Gateway has no such limitations.
