Body Coating is based on a one-shot superteam called The Multi-Men. They appeared in a single mid-60s issue of Superman, providing a deus ex machina rescue. When they appeared, they were covered in flexible steel shells and for some reason riding a giant centipede. After Superman was rescued, the leader introduced themselves and explained their

So if Skycutter has the technical skills to maintain the site, I'm all for his taking on the reins.
But Sky-- remember Auntie P is a freakin' genius and a hard standard to live up to, so if you feel you need help, ask those who are offering to help.

I didn not actually know Gygax. In fact, I can't recall ever talking to him in any regard. By the time I was hired as a freelancer, Gygax was long departed for LA and Lorraine Williams had already completed her coup d'etat.
I had been reading his two Dragon columns for years and had a good time reading between the lines for clues into his personality. One got the impression of a man

BLACK WIDOW -- like the Blade series, a relatively simple flick to do from a SFX POV. Resist the urge to give her any powers, especially those ridiculous super-leaps seen in the Daredevil flick.
INHUMANS - treat the first half of the flick as a parallel world tale. Then expand it to reveal their hidden presence on Earth.
MAR-VELL - treat the initial part of the film as a Superman-like ta

I suspect the Writers Strike was a complete surprise to the HEROES team. They had a helluva lot of plans for this season and now most of them are on hold until the third season.
Had they known they'd only have an 11-episode season, I'd suspect the whole Sylar and the Death Twins plot line would have been left out. By the time they finally get to NYC, they're going to be in the

Spiderclimb or Wallclimb is one of those powers that is actually a couple different powers with a similar effect.
In the simplest form, the body exudes a material that enables the hero to cling effortlessly to the wall or ceiling. In Spider-Man's case, as shown in the film, his epidermis extended millions of tiny velcro-like barbs as needed. These barbs then penetrated and held onto whate

MANIMAL is one of those shows that now exists in the pop culture solely as a reference for bad TV. Simon McCorkindale played an adventurer who was trained is some kind of mystic discipline that enabled him to channel a hawk and a big cat. When he did so, he assumed their forms but kept his own mind. Basically he was a benign lycanthrope (werewolf flicks were big at the time).
Manimal was not

You should be able to watch the show via a stream from the NBC.com website. I've not tried it (I'm still dealing with a 1999 processor that freaks at live feeds) but it looks like there is a link for that.

Vic would wait until the F4 were away, then he'd activate whatever building-transporting tech he'd come up with and transfer the entire F4 headquarters to some spot in Latveria.
Probably a park within easy view of his castle.

Angel and the Ape was originally one of DC's last humor books in the '60s, back when comics came in multiple genres. Phil Foglio did a nice revival of it in the mid-90s as a miniseries, even bringing back by fave, The Inferior Five.

It's been my long-held estiamtion that continuity at Marvel is akin to Soviet-era official histories. In the old USSR, when a new troika or premier took, the official histories were re-written to remove the now-deposed former leaders from history. And expert photo retouchers carefully excised the former leaders from the official May Day photos atop Lenin's Tomb.

I blame Cyndi Lauper.
