I seem to remember a while back, I had found a site somewhere that had all kinds of bits and pieces for you to puzzle together to build a Marvel Super Heroes map.
Had the street blocks, the building blocks, road signs, etc.
Didn't remember if it was a bunch of Visio bits, or what.
If anyone has any clues, please let me know!!

Hey, like I said - you've got to be dumb to not sell what sells well.
If you're a comic/game shop, both CCG's and Clix stuffs fit right into your target market.
I wish we had more shops like yours!
The new shop in Albany that I mentioned, "Fantasy Knights" seems like it might have potential, but he's already been invaded by the goobs that play (currently) BattleTe

Just about any X-Men resource should at least have a mention of it.

There's a whole lot of Judge role-playing that can be done to maintain balance here.
I mean, it's not like the X-Men, the Avengers or the Fantastic Four never had their base and their stockpile of goodies destroyed by the bad guys, taking them down to the clothes they had on their backs...
Add bureaucracy to the campaign. Got a PC who has decided to keep cranking out new weapons (and

I think one could definately cite computers games and online games (like MMORPG-types) as part of the reason for the decline in RPG popularity.
I think if one were to take a serious look at the stereotypical gamer nerd, it's quite clear that they aren't social butterflies. As such, something like Everquest or UO provides an ideal outlet for these types.
These MMORPG's also furth

I think I found it on the rivendell MSH page, myself, but I'm too lazy to go verify, so I'll email it to you.

Silverbolt: I already have it.
I've got a real hardcopy of nearly everything TSR published for the game - those 5 items are the last things I'm looking for.
Ideally, I'd like nothing more than to spend the time scanning, OCR'ing, and PDF'ing away all my stuff - however, I'm a Systems Administrator by trade, and to be perfectly honest, when it comes to technical com

They haven't yet.
Someday, it'll happen!
However, we need to work on bringing PDF file sizes down - proper OCR'ing will take care of a lot of that.
Right now, I'm hosting about 450mb of PDF's, and we haven't hit 25% of the Classic MSH material.

Hi folks!!
Thanks to an emal from Dr. Cripple, the following has been posted:
TSR6850-MH0-Marvel_Super_Heroes-Basic_Set-Battle_Book.pdf
TSR6850-MH0-Marvel_Super_Heroes-Basic_Set-Campaign_Book.pdf
These are posted in the core rulebooks section of the site!
I broke these out of a single PDF that contained both books. Unfortunately, it did not contain the Day of the Octopus module, only the cha

Yeah - it's actually a boxed set devoted to Spider-Man.
It contains a 32-page "Watcher's Chronicle", a 64-page "Grandmaster's Log", a map, a Todd McFarlane Spidey poster, and a bunch of the character fold-ups.
Not a bad set in general. I've got a copy with books in crappy condition, just want to find a nicer set.

Of course you can DL it for free.
There'e something to be said, however, for owning a real copy of the book...
I mean, I'm collecting all of this stuff, myself.
I went through and did an inventory of all my MSH stuff last night - I need the following to complete my collection:
TSR6887-MU5-_Gamer's_Handbook_of_the_Marvel_Universe-1989_Character_Updates
TSR6894-MU6-_Gamer's_

But the fact of the matter remains - it doesn't eliminate it's weight - it eliminates the effects of it's weight.
I know we're arguing semantics here, and your quite probably right about the whole Weight vs. Mass deal.
In that respect, wouldn't a denser material be more damaging than a lesse dense material?

I bought the Beta version - if it's something that you think you'll use, I think it's worth it.
It's got a lot more customization, plus the ability to "save" your character.

Hey, call me weird, but I think half the fun of our gaming is, at times, the semi-pseudo-scientific debate.
On that note - swinging a object that has a seemingly zero-weight due to an anti-grav device would NOT be the same as swinging that object, minus the anti-grav device, in space.
I'd think you'd get a much better swing on Earth, as you'd have the ability to, well, put your w

Quite possibly!
I've got to get around to sorting out all of my stuff, and organizing it, before I commit to scanning in a bunch of stuff.
I've actually got a hardcopy of most of the MSH stuff - just trying to track down the last couple things that I don't have, and get a couple nicer copies of some of the books/modules.

But you haven't negated the weight - an anti-grav device may make adamantium float, but the adamantium still retains it's weight, mass and strength.
If you hit someone with it, it's still going to hurt just as much as without the anti-grav device.
If an anti-gravity device were to exist, it wouldn't work by changing the properties of the subject it's used on - it would

See, according to some, the game isn't neccesarily about character advancement, and to some extent, I'd have to agree.
If you read the comics, over time you'll see characters develop new powers, new features, etc. In a time scale, this usually takes quite a while.
The karma system for the game, I think, adequately represents that.
In order to advance a character, it should end

I don't really think that the Karma system is unbalanced at all.
If one plays with the advanced rules, and follows the karma advancement, and the GM isn't over-generous with the karma, it should take a significant while for a level crest, let alone just simple stat advancement.

I can do that - if you've got the ability to, a scanned TIFF would be most preferrable.
