I would be inclined to aggree. It would also require more work on the gms part.

this would essentially make the F A abilities less important to Physical Characters and lends a tendacy towards tanks.

If you have already implemented this in your game then I hope this works well for you. Have you tried the system as per the original rules concerning health?

It definately adds a mortal aspect to the game. I guess as long as you adjudicated this in your game it might work but then you still have the potential complaints as to when the F and A are not able to be utilised.
