I was watching that He-Man show that cartoon network made a couple of years ago. From my recent experience playing MSH I couldn't help but wonder how those guys would stack up if they were converteg to game write-ups.

In every episode they find somekind of super item that gives them even more retarded power. Most of them would be interesting to write up (not counting mekaneck or buzzoff) Am I the only one who thinks so?

I agree. I loved the new He-Man cartoon CN did, and honestly do not know why they killed it off. (Well, the simple answer is that CN is run by morons, which explains why Ed, Edd, and Eddy seems to air constantly....)

I also really liked the comics that came out to go along with the new 'toon, especially the one-shots focusing on some of Skeletor's henchmen. My faves were the ones dealing with TrapJaw and Triclops.

yea, my fave is Merman he seemed really powerful.

Everyone should pick a char and do the write-up for him/her. That would speed things along nicely

those kinda seem like the old show and comic stats. They were a bit different in the CN show, a lot of those powers don't really apply

I would give heman access to some sort of pocket dimension. sometimes when he transformed on the show he would have different weapons or armors that would help in certain situations as if he picked them from a warehouse or something. His sword has also shown the ability to drain energy as well as deflect it.

Triklops' green beam was called a gamma blast and the red balls he fired looked like solid energy so I'm guessing he fired gamma radiation and plasma with those two eyes, I'm not sure what the blue eye did but it did have coils of energy circling astraight beam so maybe it was sonic in nature. He also would probably have hyper invention as a power based on that show.

If those are not the only things they did differently from the old show then they may call for an all new write-up

Remember to throw in the fact that virtually everyone seems to be able to hyperjump. :D

When it comes to lifting feats, there doesn't seem to be any known upper limit to He-Man's strength. He'll strain and grunt, but he'll lift it.

Many of the stats list the people as having a high strength, that will work fine for the jumping.

Regarding the strength thing, remember that the stats are often set for their intent. Unearthly strength is for "really strong" people. Like Thor and Hercules. Hercules once moved the island of Manhatten. If He-Man needs to lift something higher than his strength should allow just see how it role plays out.

I really hurt my head trying to make stats for some of the chars from that dang show. Cyclone,mekanek, skeletor and merman gave me the most trouble. I have so many questions

Skeletor uses tk but only once did he use it to move something other than his staff or his sword and that time he was boosted from the bug food and all he did was call hemans sword to his hand, so would that mean he can't move anything but his weapons?

What would you do with mekanek? would he have elongation even though his stretching seems mechanical? if its not elongation how is he holding so much material inside his body??

The skeletor on the CN show doesn't have magic. He uses magic artifacts but never does a spell under his own power. He's also not undead or an alien. He's just some evil guy whose face got melted by acid.

Actually, the Skeletor in the CN Revamp of MotU is Undead -- they had a flashback ep where it showed that, after Randor had deflected his acid attack, Evil-Lynn took the dying Keldor to a temple of Hordak, where Keldor begged to be saved. Hordak agreed, and turned him into an undead. His body shrivelled a bit, and his head was shown to truly be a fleshless skull floating above his shoulders. If that ain't Undead, it's certainly close enough.

It can be argued that Skeletor doesn't possess any actual spellcasting power, but he certainly has access to a number of potent magical items (his Havoc Staff being his most often used one), and he's got a great deal of knowledge about magic.

I recall reading a He-Man comicbook about 20 years ago in which he squared off against Superman. I don't recall much of the details, but one memory sticks with me ... He-Man hammer-throw-twirling Superman into a number of boulders. I might very well be wrong, as I wasnever a big He-Man fan, but I think that He-Man more-or-less manhandled Supes that issue.

If so, he is either really strong, or very well schooled, or both.

Yeah skeletor brought Supes too eternia to battle superman.
I'm actually a Big HE-man fan, have been all my life :)

Anywho I was saddend Mattel cancelled the show because the action figures didn't sell too well. But with a new movie coming up mattel said its not the end of Masters of the Universe.


Anyone have stats for Bravestarr Characters? I loved that show almost as much as MOTU. Asecialy Texhex and Outlaw Skuzz ;)
