Most people here are used to characters of a certain power level, based upon the rules of the game. If a character is going to be outside the parameter of what the common understanding is, there should be an explanation of how they got that way, or others will be sceptical of the character. If there is an explanation, even one like the campaign the character is from is at a higher power level than standard games, that will cut off a lot of the criticism ahead of time.

You know, from reading comics that involve, oh, I don't know, gods like Thor and Odin, and characters like the Beyonder, all the way down to some lowly little guy like Madcap or Forbush Man, I'd say that virtually any character is "within the parameter of common understanding".

This ain't reality, this is the comics, people.

Were one to use the character creation rules found in the UPB, it doesn't seem like creating a character like this is even an oddity, let alone coming to these stats after playing a character for 8 years...

Finally, please read the following dictionary definition of game:

Game: An activity providing entertainment or amusement; a pastime.

Last time I looked, the G in "RPG" stood for Game.
