New Updated Digital Advanced RPG Books.

I don't want to reawaken a sleeping ogre, but I can see both sides of this argument. Unlike a face to face discussion we're only picking up 7% of the content of the conversation, missing out body language, intonation, time to reflect while being with the person we're in discussion with.

One more point. I really don't like TI as it does seem very unbalancing. Conversely I can also see Nightmask's point that it is suitable for some characters. Examples that leap to mind are the Monkey King (magically animated stone monkey) and the film Thing, which I seem to recall had all his innards turned into some kind of living rock. I wouldn't use TI my self, but I'm sure lots of players might find it useful/interesting.

Actually, the entire Weapons Locker is entirely in 300dpi, unoptimized, and non OCR'ed (not just the covers). The properties for the file says it was updated by Skycutter. This file has not been updated. (I didn't think he was going to release it, or I wouldn't have put it on there.)

If people still need the UPB Universal Table after this, I can reupload it and the Ink Saver version. They are only 2 meg if I recall correctly.

I hate to sound stupid (haven't had a chance to read them in depth), but what changes were made?

Monstrous Strength was changed to increase the standard press from 80 tons to 100 tons and Unearthly strength changed to increase it from 100 tons to 250 tons, along with increasing max press for the Shift ranks.

True Invulnerability in the Ultimate Powers Book was changed from reducing damage by the number of column shifts represented by its power rank against all attacks to only providing the same kind of rank number protection as Armor Skin, Body Resistance, or having a personal force field (although the force field will provide protection even against psionics and magic).

Yendor, including Nightmask commits above! All the generation tables and charts were updated, also the numerous errors throughout all the books were corrected. I have set down and looked though all of the Updated MU books, The SKYCUTTER did an AWESOME job of fixing these books! :D

ThatArtGuy's updated all the Covers & Backs of these books in 300dpi making for one of the best looking set of updated books on Classic Marvel period! :!)-D

Unless they were fixed and I missed it in the last updates the healing rates listed in the Players and Judges books still need fixing though; they list an hourly recovery rate when everything else including the Regeneration power in the player's book refers to daily health recovery. Hourly is far too fast.

A normal human with all Excellent stats and 80 health could be beaten nearly to death (zero health and Feeble Endurance) and totally recover all that lost health in 40 hrs (less than 2 days) and that's without professional medical care. The best medical care in the world won't let you recover from such injury even close to that quickly.

Nightmask, PLEASE! Regeneration, Recovery, and Healing; this is the original write up Nightmask, there is nothing wrong with it!! If it is not broken, Don't fix it... So Just Give It Up, Will You! Don't make me call The Beyonders, because you really are asking for it! I really respected your opinion once Nightmask, but no longer! Because you do not respect anyone else period, End of Story. 8-)
