So It would seem like I wouldn't have much of a chance to beat any supervillains...
how about one of the most powerful villains in the Marvel U.. a near cosmic entity?
You see.. let's get back to the issue of the poor endurance. I have had sleep apnea now for the last year a

I thought the omega beam worked by transporting the target, which Darkseid often used to teleport people to and from Apokolips. I surmise that Darkseid corrupted this effect into a weapon..by teleporting molecules into nothingness (leave them "hanging" if you will). Therefore, they would be deadly to Superman who for some reason, can not refrain from being teleported. Amazingly, thoug

I don't know dos Santa really deserve cl 1000 Endurace?
I mean there's this one time, Santa got sick and Fred Flintstone had to impersonate him for Christmas.
Come to think of it, he seems to come down with a cold quite often, maybe it should be listed as a weakness?

Ok, I admit, I never got into the Infinity Watch-Gauntlet idea from the 1990's. So I didn't know about his stat upgrade. I am used to his power levels from the AA handbook.
But even with his write up from the site with many Sh-Z abilities and powers, they fall short of Galactus. It's simple math. MM operates in the cl-3000-cl500 zone, Galactus operates around cl1000-cl300 and Th

Thanos? - 16 years ago
Thanos?
He's not in the same ballpark as the MM or Galactus, he's not even up to plate, not even in the same sport.
Thanos?
For cryin' out loud, Captain Marvel used to give him a hard time.

In the original Secret Wars, Beyonder and Molecule man squared off. Beyonder was apologetic towards MM. But MM thought he was coming to kill him so he ambushed the Beyonder. THe Beyonder said something like " nice shot..that last one could have destroyed a couple of thousand galaxies".. or words to that effect.
Now Galactus is powerful, but it takes some time for him to "eat&

I can't believe Galactus' respect. Galactus is very powerful but he does use technology and heralds to conserve energy. He also has a glaring weakness - his need to feed on other planets to survive. Owen just needs to find away to prevent Glactus from re-charging.
By the way there are some misconceptions thrown around here.
1.) Neither the Beyonder nor Owen Rece had anything to d

The Living T is not really that powerful. It's just another stupid 90's retcon. Somehow the LT became more powerful than Eternity or Death. Yet in early issues of Dr. Strange, the Doc could thwart some of LT's best laid plans himself. The In-betweener was an agent of the LT and he's not really that powerful. But when they messed up with the stupid Infinty war thing from th

Yes, Amz is the max human reason. For example, Albert Einstein's write up in one of the modules is AMZ. Not everything about reason is based on invention. It's also based on theoretical knowledge. Sometimes knowing how something can be done or why it could not be done is more important than doing it. I would also like to point out that if Marvel comics were printed 100 years ago, thin

How about this... since we have had a "draft" system... how about a points system? Everyone gets 500 points see.. and you can make any team you want by spending points on FASERIF with a power cap of UNE.

There's a problem with a DC heroes draft and it comes with a red cape and moves faster than a speeding bullet.
The "Big Blue Boy scout" offers some of the same problems that Wayne Gretzky did in my Hockey pool 20 years ago, he was so good that if you picked him you had to miss your next draft pick as a solution.
Superman is head and shoulders the best DC hero, heck maybe the

The rules of this draft (and the hero draft) are arbitrary though. It's not to mirror the comics, simply to generate some guidelines.

I got no shortage of imagination. But I am also a realist and I know both the Hero and Villain drafts required a very large amount of subjectivity. A cosmic being draft would be totally arbitrary and defining what could and could not be done would be terribly difficult. For example, does Thor have his belt of strength? Can he use Unfettered might and in what situations? how long could he use th

Mo bias against anyone. In the hero draft I got shot to pieces for some arbitrary stuff. So if I was going to hold a grudge, I would unfairly give higher scores to Taarna and Harker. But I didn't.
As for sharing technology, I did give a chemistry score of 3 which isn't too bad. But if permanent enhancements are acceptable, who knows just what Dr Doom and Sinister could do for thei

How are you going to have a cosmic beings draft? First of all, there aren't really that many Deities to choose from. Second, how are you going to argue if a life based "god" like Gaia is more powerful than a death based "god" like Hela? Third, so many of these deities have insufficient back story to know if they would "team up" with someone else. It would make

My idea is for a "low level" hero draft, no FASERIp stats or powers beyond the AMZ rank. AMZ is the max score. That means more focus on guys like Captain America, Spider Man and Shang Chi.

Ok here we go.
Power..
When it came to power I had a fairly simple rule of thumb, I tallied up the n# of villains that I thought could hold their own against an average superhero team. If there were more than 5 I rounded to 5.
Taarna..
Doom, Graviton, Superskrull all have this capability. Maybe Mongoose, but I doubt Rhino, Snadman or Electro could do it. So I grant this team a 3 out o

Ok when everyone is finished pimping, we will just pick openly. I'm formulating my opinions now. It's a very close draft since all the teams are so loaded.

We should vote first secretly and then provide our rationales afterwards.

Let's do it right this time, you can pump and promote your team all you want, but the votes should be a secret ballot with 3 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd, 1 point for 3rd. Just find someone outside the draft and if nobody wants to -- then just email Taarna.
