They actually explained why the nanites didn't work on Hulk (if not in that ish, than in another). Hulk's far more powerful than Jen, soaked up far more Gamma than she has (his initial exposure was full-body from the bomb blast, hers was just the residual Gamma from a few pints of Banner's blood), and he's been exposed to a lot more mutational agents than she has in his "

I thought Power Inhibitors only worked on Mutants?
If they work on any mutated person, I'd say they shouldn't work on magically-empowered beings (since Tech & Magic tend not to play well with each other), so the Wrecking Crew'd be clear.

During the civil war that erupted amongst the Skrulls after Galactus ate their homeworld, the Skrulls Zabyk and Myrn detonated a genetic "hyperwave bomb" which prevented all Skrulls, everywhere in the universe, from shapeshifting, trapping them in whatever form they occupied at the time. However, Kl'rt the Super-Skrull was at the time trapped in the Van Allen Radiation Belt as a s

Stark's already done that, got Spidey's sense & Cap's moves.
Yeah, Stark worked it all out off-panel... and so could Strange. Surely there've been other sorcerer who worked out a defensive spell that worked similar to Spidey's Spidey-Sense (which, in D20 game terms, seems mostly just Uncanny Dodge and a bit of precognition).

West Coast Avengers were as separate from the regular Avengers as all the 50 State Teams are from one another. All are working under the same umbrella.
It wasn't HERO Games, it was another comics company. It wasn't the RPG, it was anther comic.
So no "in-game" reason why they took the name used by the Defenders-in-Authority-clothing? Any mention at all of the prior Or

In many ways, CIVIL WAR was Marvel "being relevant" by dealing with a tragedy and the fear and reactions that follow including the question of loss of civil rights versus security and off-site prisons. (Whether or not they did it well is a topic for another thread.)
Its been proposed that the Skrull event is Marvel again attempting this, but this time addressing issues such as the t

The New Warriors didn't lack training or ability, though, they'd gotten a lot of both in their years of previous comic appearances and adventures (heck, in one of their first battles they beat Terrax the Tamer, a considerably tougher foe than Nitro). Though it seems Quesada & Co. just forgot that part of them and decided to make them all n00b kids.

Doom thinks what he's doing is right, too, he genuinely believes the world will be better once everyone fell to his will. Same with Magneto. It's not an excuse. Stark's always been a touch arrogant and pretentious, yes, but never as outright evil as shown in Civil War. For all his flaws, he was always firmly on the side of the Good Guys, unlike the Dr. Doom-esque version we've seen lately.

Even those Mutants with trivial powers were de-Mutant-ed by Scarlet Witch. There are now 198 (or less) Mutants, total.
I think Beast & Cyclops had a discussion about them at one point and said that, before Scarlet Witch went crazy and restructured everything, there had been millions of Mutants. When Cassandra Nova had her Super-Sentinels wipe out the populace of Genosha --which I believe

Junderway makes a very good point. Strange has been shown with numerous limitations on his powers in the past, chief among them a need to gesture or chant and a need a call on the powers of otherdimensional entities. And these have all been fairly well explained over the decades.
But, over the past several years -- perhaps due in part to the popularity of the LotR and Harry Potter franchises

Captain America was publicly laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery, under a monument built in his honor. The body in Arlington is a fake: Tony Stark, accompanied by Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, returned Steve Roger's real body to the Arctic where he was found all those years ago, frozen in ice. Namor attended the small private ceremony and swore that as long as he rules the seas, no o

Keep in mind, Powersurge, that it really doesn't matter what the real world Anglo-Nordic understanding of things was/is, or what real world Thor would've done according to his myths. Marvel's Thor and their Asgardians are, while similar to them, also quite different.

I've always felt miniatures have their place in any/all RPGs. If nothing else, it helps keep track of where characters are in relation to others, which can be vital in combat.
