Just wanted to add in again. I hope you will donate the sit to someone else someone else. That is mind you comepletely selfish on my part because I love this place. But as a creator myslef (artist) I understand not wanting to let "your" baby go.
Either way best wishes!

Thanks to Aunt Petunia, and this site I was able to revive my old Marval game amonst old friends who used to play and missed this game. I was the only one with any resources left from those bygone days, but without this site playing would have been nearly impossible, as ebay was my only way to track down core books and game modules. And that was only piecemeal, the materials are long out o print

Okay Bracey, I'm sure those complaining would love to give their two cents on helping to fix the issue, but, the issue at them moment is... THEY CAN'T LOG ON to even make helpful suggestions. One can't have help when none are able to help.
Hey, like I said this wasnt a flame...toward anyone really. I just hate to see forums degenerate into flames and complaints with no solutions

Ive noticed a lot of complaining recently about the site slow down and log on difficulties and such. Now I understand your frustration, I do. Everyday I go online I come by this site for a while. The only real trouble of course are the forums, the slowdown here is terrible or they dont work at all. So I understand, This website revived my intrest in playing MSH, and I am very grateful for the obv

But Jedi's are trained not to use/trust their eyes to fight. Muwhahahahaha! This debate can go one forever...FOREVER I say!!!! Muwhahahahaha!!!!

Duskblade completely understandable, but just so everyone knows Im 39 and way to old for that kindergarden crap. I sure do hate to see a thrad degerate into that nonsense.
Perhaps I'll write up two stories, lone jedi and band of jedi vs the x-men.

Heh what a LIVELY discussion this ended up being eh?:D
Hey Duskblade, I was never upset or angry I was just trying to clear things up for my point of view on the whole thing. Plus my version makes for a more interesting story than the whole "unstopable Superman" senario. Peraps the best way to view this is animated Superman vs animated Yoda. Animated Supes is definately far more vuln

Yeah but my whole little senario was never about game mechanics. It was purely my imagination based on observations. I whole agree that a lightsaber has no chance of actually hurting Superman but recall that for the sake of the fight I said
"Lets assume a lightsaber enhanced by the force can cut/kill Superman"
Key word here is assume. That was said to even make the fight possible

Youre ignoring two facts of my story: 1.Superman would be holding back like crazy, heck he almost never ever goes all out even against super powered foes. 2. Its not just a question of speed and reflexes but the fact that jedi see the future all the time. Anikin was the only human able to pod race because, as Qui Gon puts it, "he can see things before they happen". So like Spiderman who

Ok I know this aint gonna make anybody happy but this is how I see it going down.
Lets assume a lightsaber enhanced by the force can cut/kill Superman Lets say that Jedi can do anything and every thing seen in all six movies and the annimated Clone Wars saga (approved by Lucas it can be considered cannon).
Superman powers:
super speed, strenght, senses = great willpower

Quirks - 16 years ago
Also are you using quirks as well as weaknesses for cp recouiping? If o how will you go about it? The rules Im reading are 3 quirks give you an additional power slot. Id suggest that if you chose to use this it would only work as 3 quirks = 10 cp, and no more than 3 quirks could be taken. Otherwise that could get rediculous.

Doesnt seem like much of a "bonus" if you still have to buy it. It really seems that elongation would be a natual extention of plasticity and that bouncing ball since it is considered a specialized version of shapeshifting would be the pay for power.
Would shapeshifting allow for elongation?
by Bracey
- Discussion
Plasticity has a bonus power-elongation. Does that have to be paid for or do you get it for free? It also has the optional power of bouncing ball, how does that work? It says it can be power stunted. So is it a power you get with plasticity like elongation or must it be bought seperately or power stunted to aquire?

Holy shnikies!!! What a deluge of responses! It IS true that when I play Mr Happy it is over the top - all the way! Part of his appeal for me is not just the fact that he looks so funny, but also that in 20 years about half the people who see him are annoyed by him or just HATE him (including my wife heh heh) which I love!!! I was playing him like Jim Carrey's take on The Mask before he ever

Will you be using any of the material from the Ultimate Addendas or the Marvel Philes since much of this was written by TSR staffers or later cannonized into the game updated by TSR?
PS: My character is almost ready to send, can you open PDFs?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Awesome response Fingerling! Its true I love them both pretty equally, and you've given me the perfect solution. While I do think the leather jacket thing is way overplayed (thanks to Frank Quietly's run on X-Men and probably the movies too) it coud always be a fun option for certain cituations. Ive planned on doing pics of him mocking various heroes tha

Well after much thought on all your responses (for which Im very grateful) Ive decided to go with ThatArtGuy's overall suggestion. Im going with the more modern look but removing all the uneeded smileys from the costume.
Some of the other suggestions were very interesting for alternate looks but not his standard look I think. Oh and yes his cape he does indeed have a large smiley on the b

Attatched is a side by side comparison of my character Mr. Happy and a revamped version to his right. I'd like to know which one you like better. The classic style costume on the left (which is the way Ive drawn him for 20 years now) or the updated more modern look on the right.
I find that I like both verymuch and cant decide between the to. Possibly a moot point since Mr Happy is simila

Let's see, Im a big guy (6'2" 230 lbs) and Ive studied martial arts for many years, while in by means a master Im very competent. I could probably take down guys like the Jester, the riddler, the Joker guys like that if its purely hand to hand. I was also in the army so I have some training there with tactics and weapons. So with some equipment and planning I could possible take ou

I have a character Id like to adapt to your game. He is a Plastic Man/Morph type character (metamorph-shapeshifter). I modeled his powers on the stats of plable characters like that found here and on Ben Rieley's site when I first created him.
That being said here is my question, would his shape shifting powers (probably plasticty ofr this example) give him body armor vs physcal attacks

I would actually keep the skeletons agility as good, the only reason he was so akward in the movie is because he was damaged when the semi truck exploded.

Id been rereading Byrne's run on Superman a while back and there was an interesting comment Superman made, thet when he lifted something and flew with it that some "other strength" came into play. That really got me thinking and I started to add a flying stregth stat to my characters.
Flight is powered in many different ways, and the method of flight will determine how much you
