Agreed. I'm a believer in using the Judge of a game to decide what constitutes common sense in these situations. If you happen to be the Judge in your house (as most of us are) then you can generate any character you wish within the interpretation you adhere to. When I got into The Rook's campaign I knew that he and I (like any two people) were bound to see the game slightly differen

This is a power that I wrote for an old character of mine. It isn't something that I have used as a standard in my gaming, just for that one hero. Since there is not really a perfect place to post a power write-up I'll just drop here in the Discussion board until someone tells me a better place to post it. I'm interested to hear from the community, and what you think of this power

Not sure but I think I mentioned this in a very recent post. For me I definitely differentiate between what a hero with Good (8) Strength, and one with Good (12) Strength can lift. The same can be said for any other stat or power rank. While it is not my standard mode of operation to use varied rank numbers, there are times when building a hero that I find it appropriate to his or her capabili

I'll agree though that it is strange that the chance of rolling a Normal Human randomly is oddly high. Wonder what the thinking behind that was?

My character Quietus:
He has a sort of unique power at least in the way of gaming. Wrote it up just for this one character and have never got to play it. Due to the limitations involved it would only take up one power slot in my game. The power stunts that could be developed are cool to think about too.

After being on the phone with Skycutter for over an hour tonight I am 100% convinced that his heart is in the right place. Something tells me that if we are all just patient and relaxed, everything will work out. Change is hard, especially when it concerns something we all get so much joy from. This is all about the game and Skycutter definitely knows that. Give this process a little time and

Oh...yeah, I finally watched it too and loved it. But then again I am a bit of a Hulk worshiper. It happens. I'll be there when it comes out.

Skycutter,
Thank you for clearing that up. I've sent you a private message with my reply.

This is a wild change of pace.
First of all the voting for this thread is about wether or not we wanted Skycutter to administrate the site. It was stated by several people that he is the one who Aunt P. wanted to take over in his absence. Have I misunderstood this?
I'll assume that I have for now so I can respond to the things Skycutter left for us.

Ragnarok, Niniri, and everyone else,
While I agree that everyone should be able to post their opinions freely in an open forum, (as long as it is civil of course) I do feel that there is very little in the way of contribution in that right. If there are a bunch of posts put down (many times within a few minutes of each other) celebrating Skycutter's contribution, it doesn't really b

Gotcha. I'm of the same mind frame. It is like one of those, one time things that he was able to pull off.

Either way, one of the most impressive feats of Strength in the history of Comics.

Punstarr,
Are you responding to my post? If so I do remember it being something nutty like that. Do you feel that he should never have been able to life it? Meaning that...
...do you think it is way too much of a shift outside of what his standard (no Karma, automatic feat, type stuff) Strength would allow?

I'm going to have to agree with some of my partners here. While I am convinced that Skycutter is an all around cool dude, I'm not sure that him taking over would make the site anything more that a center for Yay! and Uber King! commentaries. That being said, I hope I do not offend Skycutter, because I really do enjoy his contributions to the game. In private messages I have found him

I'm a nut for the cosmic trilogy. My first post on this forum was actually about it. Especially a fan of Ragnarok and Roll.

A few months back I mentioned the exact same thing regarding Hulk holding up that mountain in Secret Wars. There has to be some kind of base Strength rank that is the standard and then when the hero is really flexing (i.e. spending the heck out of their Karma for the Red result.) they can on occasion do something more difficult.

The thing I agree has been missed for the most part in game terms is the Rank Number. Which TankerAce pointed out in his post.
Even in the comics, what I would do is look at what a character has done to gain enough Karma to move up in a particular stat. Has Daredevil for example, gained enough Karma in the last ten years of comics to advance an entire Fighting rank? I don't know. But

Good to know Aunt P. Perhaps now all those who bailed will come slowly meandering back. Would be good to have a full house again. Thank you for taking care of that.

Ooooo......I like Cashflow as a name. A close runner up though would be something slang for money, like: Scratch, Paper, Green Back, etc.

That is a really cool What If?
Eric would make a powerful Captain America, especially once his powers manifested fully. He could do some awesome things with the shield. Although his powers are so potent he may eventually outgrow it's use.
So what happened to Bucky? ;-)

I see.....hmmm.....
Well is there something special about Rom that another hero couldn't eventually show up and defeat Hybrid? He is powerful, I know, but there are many powerful characters who could maybe aid in this situation. But your question was: What If? they learned to late and Rom had been defeated. So I'll have to leave the response up to someone who knows this story arc b

Thinking about my character Quietus on the cosmic trilogy....he would be awesome with his Death Sense boosted up to a maximum of Shift-Y effect. Could be cool to see how his power is effected by being in the various lands of the dead, or dealing with the death gods. Perhaps he'd have a good chance of keeping the whole team alive, considering all his other stats would be boosted up as well

Aunt Petunia,
Thank you for your efforts over the last several years. Since I know many of the people here will be sad to see the website and forum go...I'd be more than happy to host it myself. I've got a couple of my own website's that I host with Host Monster. I believe it would be a pretty simple matter of moving the data you have over to my host site. Also, I'm mor
