The time has come to say good-bye to the things i enjoyed in my youth, comic books and RPG's, my group has dwindled down to little or nothing and i keep losing friends in one way or another...no offense meant to anyone here.

OK, where did i leave off, Dead Bang absorbing 3 personalities of his friend Frost, Capitol City...oh yeah, i remember now.
Dead Bang was a character near and dear to my heart because he was for all intents and purposes ME, so i really cared what happened to him each and every time i played him.
His Stats and powers started out pretty low but increased thru play and power stunts but when he

We have always used a d10 for this, everyone rolls one, adds any modifiers and the numbers are the order in which things take place: a 1 goes first, 2 goes second, and etc.
Works for us.
I roll for NPC's and villains this way too.

I guess you could say that when it comes to Marvel RPG, i have tended to play CHARACTERS who have superpowers rather than superhero characters, does that make sense?
Rather than play superheroes who have to worry about changing into a costume and making excuses for their absences, explaining mysterious wounds from battles, etc, etc...I and about 95% of the players i have been around and known fo

Ok, good responses so far, on we go....First off a little background info on my Universe (can i copyright that? just kidding), i would say about 85% of the characters i have had the pleasure of DM'ing in the last 20 some years have NOT had costumes per the idea of what SuperHeroes should be or are conceived to be.
In order to draw in new players and make them comfortable in the situations i

I have several campaigns running now but i am hesitant to put any info on them here as my players don't play in the Marvel Universe at all.
When i bought the game in 1984 we made a decision to create our own characters in our own universe because we didn't wanna ruin the comic book's that we loved so much.

Now watch, in the next few months 4 new characters will emerge each claiming to be the real Cap intending to find his killers and bring them to justice.
Each character will have abilities/powers that pertain somehow to the concept of the American Dream (hell, that could even be the name of one of the them), then slowly they will all be revealed to not be Cap, wait i am being handed a news flash

Man, i need to read comics more than i do if crap like this is gonna be brought into things.
So i guess the villain behind the scenes could be explained away as the Infinity Gems corrupted those that touched them, grasping as straws here but it would not surprise me if they use this as a way out of the whole mess.
