I view it this way. Hyper-Speed is *mostly* used in the comics for tricks like picking the pockets of everyone in the room, changing into your costume without being seen, and things like that.
So Hyper-Speed simply jac

Yes and no. Psche measures willpower yes. This is how much determination a figure can bring to a given situation.
It does not measure bravery. Bravery is a personality trait (and therefore situational and varying) determined by the player playing t

Your right, but I always try to keep in mind that these are 'super' heroes and should be allowed to be larger than life.
And since the 'abuse' only really would take the form of 'a normal hit when I wanted something special' well, I dont consider it very abusive to let them hit when they DID make their roll.

It sounds redundant. Electro can only kill the thing if the King doesn't get a YELLOW or better result of an Endurance FEAT, and he doesn't spend any Karma to live, and he doesn't have anyone nearby who will help him to stop the Endurance rank loss, and 10 rounds go by!
It doesn't seem like this particular rule is necessary.

I don't think I've ever seen any 'official' explaination for how to use that table.
The most generous extrapolation of the Multiple Combat Actions table (AMSHP, p

A friend tried it with me for about 40 minutes. This was as an idea of changing from using GRiP to Screen Monkey. Both of us were convinced that it was under-powered compared to GRiP but that while it had some good points, it wasn't worth replacing GRiP so far.
But that's not the same as "using it to run games".

I would use it by the book. It's an insanely powerful ability. I've got no problems with it being limited. Remember, you could take it more than once or use a Power Combination to make it even more powerful. If it aint broke...

I've had really good luck with new players using turn/round rules from House Rules/Combat Rules/Various Combat Rules/The Turn (http://www.classicmarvel.com/house_rules/combat_rules.htm).

You're right, which is why my own take is that it is referring to 'Automatic Actions' as defined in Combat Rules/The Turn (http://www.classicmarvel.com/house_rules/combat_rules.htm).
I also used the suggestio

I certainly agree with the philosphy, but I've actually found that players don't tend to go for the Bullseye unless they really need it. Maybe they are still naive, but I haven't had to implement this so far.

The short answer is:
Advanced Players' Book Regenertion = No. You need at least one minute (10 turns) to regenerate your Endurance Rank. So without Unearthly Endurance, you'll die faster than you can heal from a Kill result.
Ultimate Powers Book = No. In theory, since normal (Ty) people heal at a rate of 0.01 HP/turn (AMSHP, p. 32) this could be speeded up by Regeneration (multip

The DC Heroes game defines Supermans' vulnerability to magic as reducing all of Superman's abilities, stats and powers to Excellent.
I think this solves all the mechanical issues mentioned and conforms to the majority of comics where this vulnerability occurs.
