Psylocke v.3.7

You lot've probably seen my Psylocke 3.5 that I did over on the Let's Talk Stats
board a while back--and she's over at Ben Reilly's site as the 'current' version
of her that's appearing in the Exiles/New Exiles comics.

Codename: Psylocke

Real Name: Elizabeth Gloriana Braddock

Former Aliases: Lady Mandarin, Captain Britain II

Occupation: Adventuress, formerly supermodel and spy

Citizenship: Citizen of the UK

Legal Status: Had been presumed deceased, no known criminal record prior to death

Identity: Secret

Martial Status: Single

Known Relatives: Sir James and Lady Elizabeth Braddock (parents, deceased), Jamie
(elder brother, missing, presumed deceased), Brian, PhD (younger twin brother, Capt.
Britain), Meggan Braddock (sister-in-law, missing, presumed deceased)

Base of Operations: Mobile

Group Affiliations: Exiles, Hellfire Club (social member); Ally of New Excalibur & Roma

Past Group Affiliations: The Hand, ally of the Mandarin and the X-men, STRIKE PSI-corps,
Captain Britain Corps

Race/Type: Mystically Altered Human/Otherworlder hybrid

Fighting: Am
Agility: In
Strength: Rm
Endurance: Am
Reason: Gd
Intuition: Rm
Psyche: Un

Health: 130
Mental Health: 150
Karma: ?
Resources: In (Mn as member of the Exiles)
Popularity: 25

Known Powers:

Telekinesis: Un to Sh X

Known Stunts: Betsy's average stunt ranking is at least Mn, as Rachel commented on several
occasions, that Psylocke is manifesting TK that is far beyond her own level. Rachel is known
to be Mn Tk strength per the "old" published, Classic MSH stats. It's also been stated more
than once, that her pscyhokinetic abilities can shatter mountains with the raw power.

Blastwave/Shockwave
Floating Disk (able to carry up to 8-10)
Leaping as if she has In-Am strength
Matter/Object Maniulation & Animation
Disruption on a quantum level
Neural Maniuplation
Biophysical Control
Fine Manipulation
Molding
Vibration
Invisibility (Physics type)
Tactile Telekineis: Am
Martial Striking (As if she had Martial Supremacy at...Am rank)
Superhuman Strength: In-Am?

Kinetic Control: Un

Known Stunts: Psylocke has been shown controlling movement as a compliment to her immense
telekinetic abilities. The full extent of this aspect of her abilities hasn't been fully
revealed or explored on-panel in the comics, as of yet.

Paralysis/Momentum
"Improved Speed" (Possibly Rm+ Lightening Speed)
Ricochet
Reflection/Deflection

Forcefield Generation: Un

Known Stunts: As with most telekinetics, Psylocke has been shown to have a number of stunts
with her psychokinetic based forcefields.

Forcefield w/Micro-envinronment
Containment/Entrapment
Projected forcefields
Force Cushion
Force-ram
Expanding Bubble (usually created within something, and increased in size, doing power rank
or material strength damage)
Force Shield (a round, shield-shaped plane of varying size)
Force Wall--such as to fill a doorway

Psychic weaponry: Un "One molecule wide and fueled by her will power and imagination: they
can cut through just about anything..." Able to cut through up to Un Material Strength--or
possibly treated as "Two-dimensional" for purposes of cutting. She has been seen making one
or two swords, and knives with this power. She may possibly be able to create other types
of weaponry as well.

Flight: Sh-X (Able to break the sound barrier)

Combat Sense: Due to the Hand/Mandarin's trainging and indoctrination, Psylocke retains a
superior sense of her surroundings, especially in combat. It has never been stated if she
lost her ESP/Precognitive powers or if this is some "newer" sense that could be attributed
to being 'aware' of kinetic movement and potential movement around her. This would likely
be at Rm rank, on par with her intuition.

Psi-Screen: Cl 1000 and
Invulnerable to Power Maniuplation, Reality Manipulation, Body Transformations: Cl 1000
Jamie stated that he'd tightened up her 'cosmic strings' to the point that she was not
only headblind (no telepathy, any more), but that she was completely immune to telepathy,
empathy, magical effects and any thing that would manipulate or alter her powers or body
in any way, and immune to reality manipulation. She was barely effected by Vertigo's
Unearthly rank Neural Manipulation or Bio-physical Control (vertigo) effect when she was
in the Savage Land, for example...nor was Mojo able to manipulate her body or mind when
he appeared in the Danger Room and reverted the then-present X-men to "X-Baby" forms.

Invisible to Technology: Un+
It is worth noting that Psylocke also seems to have 'regained' her undetectablity to
technology. The computer systems of the Panoptichron appear to be even more advanced than
Otherworldly or Shi'ar technology, and she has been repeatedly shown to be utterly invisble
to them--for what reasons, remains unknown.

Body Resistance: Rm, Regeneration: Rm
(She has shown a surprising resiliance to damage, and climate extremes since her resurrection,
as well as recovering from injury with increased recuperative ability.)

Special Tricks: Telekinetic Gestalt with Rachel Summers/Marvel Girl III (or possibly any
other powerful telekinetic): Create Forcefields of Sh Z to Cl 1000 rank--they protected
Chicago from a Shi'ar photon torpedo--and reflected/deflected it back into space to destroy
the Shi'ar battle cruiser! Reflection/Deflection, Kinetic Control etc, as above also appears
to be in effect.

Talents: Martial Arts (all), Acrobat/Tumble, Oriental Weapons, Weapon Specialist: Psychic Weapons,

Multi-Lingual, Espionage/Detective, Crime, Escape Artist, Stealth, Performer (model, sing),
"Oriental Studies", Pilot, Ariel Combat, Computer/Systems Operation

Contacts: Captain Britain, Sage, Hellfire Club, Roma; Formerly STRIKE, X-men, British Government,

Fashion Industry

Equpment: Since joining the Exiles, Psylocke has some new equipment worth noting.

Personal Tallus: Made from Class 1000 strength material it allows the holder and anyone wishing to
go the Unearthly ability to teleport through reality, space and time. The Tallus allows Psylocke to
ineract with the highly advanced computer systems of the Panoptichron. It will teleport her back to
the Panoptichron (Crystal Palace), or to a different reality. It also allows the computer monitoring
systems (or their user) to monitor her where abouts and wellbeing, for emergency extraction, for
example. She can not remove this device, and it fits around her upper right arm like a bracelet.

Costume: Psylocke is wearing a new costume, made of something akin to unstable molecular fabrics,
and it may provide her with an unknown degree of body armor. It does not appear to rip or tear as
conventional fabrics would.

NOTES: This is modeled from Psylocke's resurrection by her brother Jamie Braddock--who has the
ability to manipulate reality and the quantum strings of the cosmos. I intend to update her as
I see more from the New Exiles comics.

I can't say that I've read Exiles since Claremont took over, but these stats really bother me.

A more powerful telepath and telekinetic than Jean Grey. More stunts than Jean. As good of a fighter as Captain America. More powerful Force Field than Invisible Woman. As strong as Beast. Psyche equal to Dr. Strange. Flies faster than Iron Man.

Sorry, but Psyloke simply is just not as good as those other heroes who specialize in their respective fields. This is the same girl who got mauled by Sabertooth in what, 4 panels? Iron Man beat her in something like 3 pages... Thank you Chris Claremont for making sure i'll never buy another comic of yours again.

I'm working on what has been shown since her ressurection. That's all.
And that's probably why some folks aren't buying many comics anymore.

I'm just figuring it out as I see on panel...as best I can. Either way, I'm
enjoying original characters and settings alot more these days, than the
ol' House of M(arvel).

As far as I'm concerned, the 'new, improved' Psylocke is not even the same
person that I read about and enjoyed years ago.
