History
The being now known as Tek first arose with the dawn of the Industrial Revolution in the late 18th century. Tek lay dormant until the mid 19th Century, when he received a surge of strength due to rising levels of industrial activity involved with the Crimean War and later, the American Civil War. Tek’s power grew at an ever-increasing rate until the 20th century, when he became fully-conscious because of the scientific and industrial effort expended on both World Wars. In an alternate reality, Tek decided to become the only god of war. Accordingly, he began a campaign to kill off the other gods of war (Ares, etc). Since the Pantheons of Earth weren't likely to welcome and outsider killing off their members, the conflict will be truly epic in scope
