You know how many secret societies/enigmatic but powerful beings have supposedly been manipulating Marvel Earth for decades/centuries? Sheesh, they can't all be the Illuminati. Shall we make a list?

Left out the Eternals, they were manipulating human development for the Celestials for thousands of years. They may be free agents now but that's only after the events of Thor and the last judgement of the Celestials before they left.

Oh, and Kang and his alternates, especially Immortus, have also been tampering with a variety of timelines.

I think you have to put the cosmic dieties in a class of their own, I doubt the Hellfire Club was even aware of the Celestiels, since one group was fooling with humaity through international banking and the other on a molecular level.

But then again, in the REAL conspiracy theory stuff (and kids, leave this mess alone, it is a wormhole of insanity)you have over a dozen groups from the Builderbergers, to the Gnomes of Zurick who could be THE Illuminaty AND the several alien sponsored organizations, like the Reptoids and ghostly Theatans.
