Hi-Tech Equipment:

1)Examiner Optics Helmet: This hi-tech optics helemt is in the shape of a samuri helmet and made of Incredible Material strength. It's hi-tech, cyclopean visor provides the Examiner with multiple optical powers including *Protected Senses: Eyes, Energy Detection/Tracking, Mutant Detection/Tracking*, and *Psionic Detection/Tracking* all at *Amazing* ability. Furthermore, it enables him to *detect weaknesses* and soft points with *Amazing* ability. Under combat conditions three turns of study (in which no offensive actions are taken) allows Examiner to make a power feat roll and apply the result to all forcefields, body armour/resistence, material strength, et al. A White result = no adj., Green = -1CS, Yellow = -2CS, Red = -3CS. Outside of combat 1 turn is all that is necessary.

2)Energy Staff: This collapsable staff is made of Incredible material strength and carries a fusion charge that enables it to fire bolts of Remarkable force or energy.

3)Body Armour: this body armour is styled after ancient Japanese armour, but has a definte hi-tech look, along with providing Excellent protection vs. all physical and energy attacks.

Background:

A natural genius of Japanese birth and a happy childhood, Yuri devoted his life to the pursuit of knowledge, the advancement of technology, and the "practice" of bushido. Highly idealistic, with heartfelt patriotism and limitless enthusiasm, Yuri eventually created the Examiner persona of his own accord in hopes of combining all of his passions in the service of Japan.

He served for three years as a special operative and advisor within the Japanese government before being drafted into the Protectors. As a Protector the Examiner served as Powersurge's righthand man, and has fought the likes of Dr.Doom and Terrax the Tamer, Dominion and Geoforce, Gladiator and the Imperial Guard, amongst others. Despite his lack of physical power, the Examiner nevertheless played key roles in numerous battles and situations which might otherwise have far exceeded the capabilties of his otherwise hi-powered teammates.
