Redwing is his bird companion ever ready to join the Falcon in combat.

Sam Wilson has, in the past, had problems with being programed by the Red Skull. This was a major plot point in the 70's and he has since come to terms with the issue and gotten past it.

Martial Arts A and E: The Falcon can stun and slam foes regardless of their respective strengths or endurance, he also gains +1 to all iniaitive rolls unarmed

Acrobatics: The Falcon has Incredible fighting for evading and agility for the purpose of dodging. He has Excellent strength when making escape rolls.

Aerial Combat: He has a +1CS to Fighting and Agility in flight due to his years of experience with his wings.

Law: The Falcon has an extensive background in law and has Excellent Reason involving the law, including correct legal procedure.

Crime: Falcon had a misspent youth that allowed him to  learn how to pick locks and pockets at Remarkable ability. He is familiar with the criminal underground of New York City.

The Falcon is an idealist in many ways, to the point where he is unpopular with many radical Black American groups in New York, although he believes in improving the ghettos where he first grew up. He has a strong bond of loyalty to Steve Rogers, one of his closest friends.

• At various stages in his career the Falcon has used different flight harnesses, presented below is the original and the most current as well.

• Before he was given the jetpowered harness by the Black Panther, the Falcon used a simple set of unpowered glider vanes which allowed him to glide at Good speed.

Original Wing-Harness: The Falcon wears a jet-powered harness of Wakandan design. While wearing it he is able to fly at Excellent Speed. For short periods (10 rounds maximum) he can fly at Remarkable Speed, but this requires a successful green Endurance FEAT roll because of the strain to his arm muscles and breathing limitations. The Falcon can carry up to 200 pounds in flight, or 400 if he makes a successful Strength FEAT roll, but must keep his arms in an outstretched, rigid position. He can shut off the wing jets and glide at Good speed so as to surprise opponents.

• Current Wing-Harness: Made from Vibranium, this Incredible material rig provides hard-light wings and a magnetic drive to give him thrust. 
  • Hard-light Winged Flight: At Remarkable speed without making a sound due to the design of the drive.
  • The wings can be used to block up to 40 points of damage when used as a shield.
  • Falcon can glide(Excellent speed), hover or perform high speed aerial moves while in the harness.
  • Vibranium Microweave: A Vibranium microweave was added to the costume, making Falcon resistant to small arms fire. 
  • The suit can't be punctured by blunt force, this gives Excellent protection vs. physical or -6CS from all physical attacks.
• Cybernetic Cowling: The entire system is controlled mentally through cybernetic circuitry in the Falcon's mask. The costume's visor comes equipped with various capabilities:
  • Infrared lenses: Good ability to see in the dark, over a 5 area range. This range can be magnified using Enhanced Sight.
  • Enhanced Sight: Remarkable ability to see objects up to 30 areas away as though they were right next to him.
  • Circular Vision: using remote imaging sensors that allow a full 360 degree of vision when activated. 
  • Communications Array: This allows it to function like an Avengers I.D. card, tapping into their private band of communication, as well as the police band, S.H.I.E.L.D. frequencies and federal authorities as well.
• Talons: On both gauntlets are cybernetically controlled grappling lines built into his costume which he uses to entangle opponents, hook objects, or for swinging and climbing when his wings are disabled. The Remarkable strength hooks are attached to a cable of 3 areas length made of Remarkable strength material as well.

Avengers Communicard: Avengers ID that has microcircuitry that allows:

• • Communications: Avengers can communicate through holographic display that project from the card. The Card acts like a pager and has a 5000 mile range.
  • Computer, HQ and Quinjet access-None of these may be accessed without an Avengers Identicard. (BTW Quinjets wont start without one and it has to be a valid one.)
  • Resource Card-Card acts as a bank card with Gd Resources for emergency uses.
  • The new cards are Rm Material and are fully Waterproof.

The Falcon was a partner of the original Captain Americafor a time as well as a member of the Avengers. The Black Panther provided Falcon with his wings. As both Sam Wilson and the Falcon, he has worked with Sgt. Tork of the NYPD.

Sam Wilson grew up in a tough Harlem neighborhood. His father, a minister, had been killed trying to stop a fight. Sam did his best to try and do the right thing, but his grief and anger eventually led him down a criminal path. He took on the name of "Snap" Wilson while working for the mob. After an assignment, on the way to Rio de Janeiro, Sam's plane crashed on a remote Caribbean island named Exile where the Red Skull and his henchmen were hiding out. The Red Skull sought to use Wilson as a pawn to attack Captain America (who was currently on the island) with. He used the Cosmic Cube to revert 'Snap' into Sam, and give him the ability to telepathically communicate with birds, especially a bird that Wilson had bought named Redwing. After their initial skirmish, Cap was able to shake Wilson of the Skull's programming. Together they defeated the Skull, and the Falcon became Cap's partner for a long time. The Falcon ultimately left as Cap's partner when he was named the leader of the SHIELD Super-Agents.

Later, as one of the few black superheroes active, he was drafted to join the Avengers by Henry Peter Gyrich to fill a quota. Resenting being a "token," he quit at the first opportunity. Later, again as the Falcon, Wilson received help from the Black Panther, who created a harness for Wilson, allowing him to fly. When Rogers briefly abandoned his Captain America identity, others attempted to take up the mantle, including a young man named Roscoe whom the Falcon mentored. When the Red Skull eventually killed Roscoe, Rogers again became Captain America. Then at another point, a Sentinel chased him believing him to be a mutant, but this was later debunked and the Sentinel is presumed to have been malfunctioning. Shortly following this incident he came across, fought and defeated the super villain named Electro.

The insane Scarlet Witch accidentally destabilized the Falcon's mind, pushing him back towards his "Snap" persona, and while he continued to work with Captain America, their relationship became strained, until, finally, Cap felt that he had no choice but to stop working with him. While Falcon argued, a man who the "new" Falcon had forced from his home to use as a safehouse shot Cap in the back (while aiming at Falcon). Thinking Cap dead, Falcon cleaned himself up and went after the so-called "Anti-Cap," who had been causing problems for them both. He helped Cap track down the Winter Soldier. He was the first to join with Captain America against the Superhuman Registration Act, and played a leadership role in the Secret Avengers. Following Captain America's assassination by the machinations of the Red Skull, the Falcon registered with the government and was made responsible for Harlem, although he remained in contact with the underground New Avengers.

Afterward, S.H.I.E.L.D. recruited the Falcon and agent Sharon Carter to investigate the Captain's assassination by locating the Winter Soldier and tracking down the Red Skull. After the resurrection of Steve Rogers, He later rejoined the Avengers in Tony Stark's initiative to expand the team's roster and become bigger.
